Ok, ive heard everything about the delegate... but im only 16 so i cant apply for it, but what i wanted to know, is what is this "New Format" business every month??? i understand now that the kids in our league can now battle every, week? or somthing to that effect... for special battlezone promos, but what about the kids who dont win? It has been nearly two months since we have seen any colorless season kit from wizards.. which we ordered a long time ago, so we are in the colorless tournament and we have no promos to give as prizes, if they cant keep up with our league, and it is relitivly small compared to some, how can they keep up with Battlezone... Our kids battle for fun, but we do keep their scores, we are trying to get them pumped for the upcoming fundraising tourny for diabetes, they are always asking when the promos are coming tho. So i am just wondering how is MTM going to do the prize system? and is it possible to run a league with over 100 kids?

I'll tell you the same thing I was told

The "New Format" is a format that they change every month that WotC RECOMMENDS that the Tournament/League be run in.

It is not mandatory that you follow this format -- it is just WotC's recommendation.

For example, if they recommend Unlimited, and you are a Battlezone Commander in a mainly Modified area, feel free to run your tournament in Modified. Thankfully for me, the reverse is also true [Smile]

It's just WotC's idea on how to spice up Battlezone so people don't get stuck playing in the same format over and over.

What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG?
All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.

Viva la unoriginality!
