I'm just curious as to why do Light Dragonite and Pokemon Tower stop Recycle NRG from going back into that players hand? The only reason I ask this is because in order for Light Dragonites power to stop it, the affect has to happen before it accually enters the discard pile, and for Pokemon Tower to stop it, the affect has to happen after it's in the discard pile.
If any of this post is confusing to you, plaese let me know, I'll be glad to try to explain it better. Thanks for readin' this.

It should be pretty obvious why Pokemon Tower stops Recycle's effect. Regarding Light Dragonite, think of it this way. While Light Dragonite is active, Recycle is just a plain colorless energy, AND it's in-play. When it hits the discard pile, Recycle's effect is still turned off (if Light Dragonite's power is active). After it's in the discard pile, the effect is back on; however, it has no "memory" of being in-play because Recycle's effect wasn't active when it hit the discard pile.

Yah, it's confusing, but that's how I see it.

This topic is not very "professor-centric". Moving from "Professor" forum to "Single Cards".

Thanks,
