My friend and i were in a late game and this situation came up. -a Sprout tower is in play -Fable and murkrow are active pokemon can the fable do damage to the murkrow? i believe that it is able to do damage becuase murkrow's faint attack ignores anything that stops damage if it's done to active. however my friend argued that faint attack only stop effects on the defending pokemon and sprout is affecting the attacking pokemon. which one of us is correct?

The Professor Program Forum really isn't a place to discuss card rulings, that's what the Single Card Strategies and Rulings Forum is for. Since there already is a post about this i'll be locking this one.
