Is there anywhere that can tell us where we stand as far as our Master Professorship status? I'm pretty sure I have 4 points now, but would like to know where I can verify this. Anyone?

Generally you're supposed to keep track of it yourself until you think you have 5 in a calender year. You can ask, though, by sending an e-mail to Master Trainer Mike.

Well ,true to Mike's word my new card showed up and it had me as a Master Professor which means that his point count was up-to-the-minute. Expiration is middle of next year.

I am probably going to get slammed for this post, but heh, not the first time.

Why are you worried about becoming a Master Professor at this point. There are no special events for Master Professors, and as for being able to run 24K DCI tourneys, DCI is over as of this summer.

If you want the shiny card, great. If you feel that there may be a "pot-of-gold" at the end of the rainbow for all master professors as a show of thanks from Wizards for all the hard work we have done to keep this game going, great, go for it.

At this point, I look forward to playing. There are not enough boxes of cards that could bribe me to staff the Fan Appreciation tourney. I want to play.

I think being a Master professor gave me some clout with reporting on the SBZ that I played in (and won) and as a result, looks like I get to run one to show my stuff, and my ability to run tourneys. Great. I am going to be proud to run a "higher profile" tourney to show all what Meganium45 is all about, and what a great day of Pokemon I can provide.

Literally, do not stress over the MP issue. Enjoy the game in its final WOTC days, and realize, people know who is helping the game around the world, and we are recognized for our contributions.

See you on the boards!
