As a Prof & TO I'm quite embarrassed to say that in helping a player that had travelled far & was stood up by his partner in team play, I had to re-enter the first round of my tourney and mixed up a team (switched members). Further, I biffed the playoff round and it didn't go up with the results.
I've written [email protected] about this several times. I've sent the corrected file. I've also uploaded again and that was a disaster -- even though the file is correct, the teams have different numbers - polar opposites to the original -- the upload didn't update the teams, just assigned the wins to the old team numbers.
Anyone have a tip for getting this resolved?

Send a corrected copy of the tournament report to the DCI via email [email protected]. In your email, make sure that you state that this is a corrected copy. You can find what is in the tournament report by going into Reporter > View > DCI Tournament Report. This shows the winning player and losing player for each round that occoured. Now for team, I'm not sure of the structure of this document. I remember doing this for the 1st season of last year's league and it's a task I will avoid in the future (thanks to the author of this fabulous app).
Hopefully, this helps.

Also send MTM an e-mail through the Professor list, & make sure he understands the problem.
The place where my Son won his trip to Worlds only submitted the Swiss portion of the event to the DCI & none of the playoffs. In the swiss part my son was second. After e-mailing the TO, talking to MTM at Worlds & e-mailing MTM it was finally fixed. They don't seem to be in any hurry as this had happened to my son on June 15, 2002 & it was just last week when it was finally corrected.

Hello Bulbasnore:
I just sent you an e-mail with my suggestions on how to correct this issue.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, keep 'em coming.
To clarify:
1. I have sent the file to [email protected]. I did mention it was the corrected copy. 2. I have emailed MTM, but he hasn't had time to reply yet, and frankly, this isn't his problem.
BTW, DCI reporter is not the best piece of software: -Heinously inconsistent user interface. -Try importing teams into Local Players. It does the basic job, but could stand a total rewrite, preferably in J2ME so that it can run on any computer, including handhelds.
Still trying. 'snore

OK, I just heard back from dci, thanks Marsh. We'll see how this turns out on March 11 when the update comes out.
IF you get frustrated with lack of email response to an error, do NOT re-upload from reporter. That is known to dci to make matters worse.
