I just checked my mail, and guess what... After almost half a year, I finally got my Silver Professor Card.
Finally... everyone else should start getting the Professor Cards in the mail.
What are you waiting for... go check you mail now. You might have gotten your Card already.
Now... all I have to do is wait for my Gold Master Professor Card. (What's that... beginning of October!? Ahhhw! )
[PS: What do we now do with those Paper DCI Cards. I guess we can throw them away seeing as the Professor Card has our DCI on it.] [ September 05, 2002, 12:37 PM: Message edited by: GreatFox ]

I got mine yesterday, just in time for the chat.
They're gorgeous...they look just like a credit card, with your name and DCI number imprinted on the front. WELL worth the wait, IMO...WotC did NOT go cheap with these. You can be proud to carry and show this card!
The mailing looks just like the anonymous envelope one gets when there's a credit card inside...white envelope, with windows for return and addressee. Return address is Wizards of the Coast, c/o James Do Hung Lee. They were mailed from the Los Angeles area, which is why those of us in So. California were first to get them. Mine was postmarked Sept. 5 (yesterday), which is when it arrived!

Mine probably got mailed to my home in Wisconsin, so hopefully my mom will be relaying it here. I got an e-mail from MTM yesterday saying my address change had been processed, so hopefully my gold card will be sent directly to RPI.

The cards were surprisingly well done. I thought we were simply getting a card (maybe made of paper) with no names on it so it will save costs. However, like 'Mom said, the card was awesome! This gives me the reason to try and get the Master Professor status!

Ch4oz , I don't know when you became a Professor; but I think everyone that became one early on get the cards first. I think People that became Professors early on from the West coast get them first (Like me, 'mom, twinsen21, and Darkleaf Master) because they are mailed directly from the Vendor here in El Segundo, California.

Then again, the mail being what it is, proximity doesn't garuntee speedy delivery. Knowing when that list was submitted to the card-making company would help as well.

Dragonite "Special Delivered" it to me here in the Third World state of New Mexico today ... very nice! I =was= a bit disappointed when I couldn't use it to pay for groceries at Wal-Mart, though. I guess only Master Professors get those gold cards! =)

I got mine on Friday. I was jumping happily aroung the house for a few hours.
I also swiped it through the credit card machine at work and it replied: ERROR.
Too bad... I thought I had a DCI account. I guess WotC's definition of acount differs from mine. Oh well.
Also, there was some sort of a mailing error that made my brother get two Professor Cards. Too bad I didn't get mailed two. Sé la vi...
These things are cool!
P.S. Now we are all Licenced Professors.

Funny, for living so close to WOTC Headquarters, I should have my professor card by now.
Hmmm...

Do you know me? I've been a leading authority on Pokemon rulings and gameplay for quite some time, but when I travel to a Pokemon tournament, people don't always believe I know what I am talking about.
That's why I carry my Pokemon Professor card.
The Pokemon Professor card is recognized worldwide, so whether I am at a local shop's tournament, a gaming convention, or a Gym or Stadium Challenge, players and Tournament Organizers alike know they can count on my knowledge of the game.
The Pokemon Professor card. Don't leave home (for a DCI tournament) without it.
One for us old timers.
Seriously, the cards are killer. Now, I have to go wait by my mailbox for my Master Professor card

Well, I talked to my mom over the phone yesterday and she hadn't gotten it yet, so I don't think they made it that far last week (not all of them, anyway).

Lately, Wizards has been batting 1.000 for the 15+ community.
15+ back in the form of the Prof. program =
Prof. Cards =
Prof. Championship format at Worlds =
At this rate Pokemon will surpass Magic. (Not really, but a noble thought.) If the Prof.s get at least 1 major Unlimited championship per year I don't think there will be an unhappy soul around here.
Great job on the Prof. cards!
-------------------- What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG? All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.
Viva la unoriginality!

I just my card today (in Missouri), so it shouldn't be too long before every Professor has the Card. It really looks nice! Don't leave home without it!
