Here's the card I'm talking about:

Here's what's in the Master Rules:
quote:
Erika's Dragonair - Gym Heroes
Q. What happens if I use Erika's Dragonair's Take Away and my opponent has no Benched Pokémon?
A. You win. (Oct 12, 2000 WotC Chat)

Well, what would happen if both you and your opponent had no Bench and the Take Away attack was used?

Two cards I hate are the Neo Genesis Cleffa and Pokémon Breeder. I use the latter only in emergencies and the former only in traveling emergencies.

I am NOT MrPokemonChallenge. I am his apprentice, who shares his views. I don't even live within 50 miles of MrPokemonChallenge.

That's what I thought.

From the prof list:

quote:
As for your second question, since ties are allowed in swiss play (whether it is single game rounds or match play) you NEVER play Sudden Death. If a game ends in sudden death it counts as a draw. In match play you would just move on to the next game. In single game rounds, this owuld just end as a tie.

Now, in single elimination rounds, you would HAVE to play out Sudden death as you must have a winner for that round.

There you have it.

I would think that since the oponent's turn would begin, and they cannot replace their Pokemon (like drawing cards) they lose

You ever hear of Michael Larsen? He's the guy who won $110,237 on Press Your Luck by memorizing the light patterns, cracking a 6-pattern code. I managed to crack a URL code to get the image.

At least Larsen never double posted. He died in 1999. Sorry, double post.

Nope, because the rule is any time you have no Pokemon and at the beginning of your turn for no cards.

OK, I can navigate through those iamges to Neo Genesis, Neo Revelation and the two gym sets, but apparently I can't figure out how to get to the Neo Discovery or Destiny pages, probably because they have the same initials... nd..
BTW -Which set does the abbreviation NY stand for?

Never even heard of the NY initial. I'll have to check it out.
