I have not been on for a while and I would like to ask a question: If a new card was made (e.x. fossil haunter) but is the same, execpt for wording, do you have to have the recent version out of deck for reference? like base charmander? I am not quite sure if I could post this below. Sorry if I could have. To the moderators if that is the case: my sincerest appoligies and please delete this post... If this is not clear, tell me. Please visit my decks in the deck help section. Im sure one person will post and then this will dissappear to the 13th page. [ January 24, 2003, 08:10 PM: Message edited by: Super Alakazam ]

As far as I know, you do not need the more recent versions of the card to play the older ones, you just have to play all similar cards according to the most recent or WoTC-official versions, for instance, the Darkness Energy printed in Expedition are the most recent, but for official use, they are played as if they were worded like the Neo Genesis versions.
