Hello all....

If Rocket Zapdos has two Electric energy, one rainbow energy and one other colorless energy...

Does Rocket Zapdos take 30 damage if it does its second attack or only 20 damage?

Question is...... Does Rainbow energy being used as an electric energy for Rocket Zapdos's second attack make Rocket Zapdos take the 10 damage for each electric energy attached?

Yes. While in play, rainbow counts as every energy type, but is still only one energy. So even if you chose to use it to fill a requirement of the attack that was NON lightning, rocket's zapdos would still take the damage from the rainbow being attached as though it were a basic lightning energy card. If the attack said: "For each basic lightning energy card", that would be another story. But it doesn't, so no need to worry about that [Smile]
Hope this helps!

If a rainbow energy is being used as a lightning energy and the attack does more damage for each lightning energy, then it would do more damage. But the best combo with rocket zapdos is steel energy. You only do 10 to yourself and 60 to your opponent.

No. It doesn't work that way. You don't get to CHOOSE what TYPE rainbow energy is. It counts as ALL basic energy types ALL the time. But yes, Metal Zappy is very popular [Wink]
