I was wondering why this card is overlooked? It has a Murkrow Locking ability throught the Pokemon Power and good HP for a Basic. Team with Scoop Up or healing cards, couldn't this card be a formidable opponent? I saw a deck the other day that used L. Ledian with this Pokemon and it gave the Thick Skinned ability with the Locking capability. Opinions....

It needs 4 energy to attack, can't do much offensively, and can't retreat when you need to. But as DMTM said, it is great in Teamplay to put into the "setup" deck.

Grimer, how many times do I have to tell you mud pies don't actually have mud in them, so they're not going to help you evolve into Muk!

The Jungle Snorlax was better of a card as it was a perfect staller whe ncomboed with Gold Berry, Potion, etc, and since no one could affect it by special conditions, it needed a Baloon Berry to switch back, and had 90 HP for a basic
The Team Rocket's Snorlax was 20 HP less, 10 damage less AND 1 Energy cost less, but to make p for all this, it had the power that was basically a suped-up Strikes back, doing 20 damage to the opponent if he was already asleep.
I myself use both in my grass deck, as Venusaur's Energy Trans lets yo ushuffle the same Energy around between Pokemon, you can play Snorlax, give him 4 Energy and attack, when he is about to be KOed, you pull back the energy and let him die.

the card locks like murkrow, BUT! murkrow does bench damage and muk shuts down snorlax, while murkrows retreat is 0 while snorlax is 4, it is good but u need a deck that uses its power perfectly
