hey guys, just to clarify, i would like to know if when you attack with base/LC Charizard, with a boost and a fire energy attached, would you discard both energys or only the boost? his power says discard 2 fire energy cards attached to it. i know the boost would be discarded anyway at the end of turn, but if charizard attacked, would it also discard the fire energy or any other energy attached or would it only discard the boost?

yup, you discard two energy cards. So, if you've Burned the Boost into fire, you can choose to discard it as part of the attack requirements.

The fire spin attack says energy cards . No matter how many energy it provides, the boost energy card converted to 3 fire gets discarded together with a fire energy or any other energy that is converted to fire via Energy Burn. ![[teach]](../tcg/graemlins/teach.gif)
