I know evervybody loves these trainers but if you used any of them you get a new hand but what if you just like your hand but also want to draw some cards, so you should put bill in and not just have cards that get totally new hands, cuz what if you needed a certain energy but you also needed whats in your hand. Answer that!!!

BJJ763 - lol Now I realize why I don't play poker with you! [Eek!]

Dark-Zapdos - So what's stopping you from using Bill, Mary, Bill's Maintenance, etc.? That's what deck design is all about. Picking the right cards to support your deck. In some decks, it is more important to get a new hand, in others you just want more cards while keeping the hand you have. Lots of decks use a combination of both.

This is why I find promo Cleffa so appealing. 2 more cards, keep your hand.

That, my friend,is the beauty of the Pokemon TGC-you design the deck to support your strategy. You can put in all drawing(Bill,Bill's teleporter etc) or you can use drawing/swap(Elm,Copycat etc)or a combination of both.Just experiment for a while and see what works for you! [Smile]

Bill and Promo Cleffa or Bill's Maintenance allows you to keep most of your old hand and get a few extra cards. But, there may be better, I just suggested some cards.

D.Z.

I like the way you think. I tend to get tired of the samne draw engine and when teaching new players to play, it is just easier to get a lot of Bills off of people. I agree that it is annoying to have what you need in your hand just, even if it is 2 cards, and then you elm for squat. It is also very true that Pokemon has the flexibility to use both. I just which that more experienced players when editing deck ideas on the boards would take into consideration that some New players don't have 4 Cleffa, 4 CopyCat and the rest of the huib cards that are always used by "BigtTime" players. That is why I post so many decks with different cards and unpopular cards that are easy to get. I t gives new people a chance to at least learn and then they can build up there colletion. Out of all the decks I have posted--GengTar is my hub that has won more Tournys for me than anything. Good Topic!!

Either, you Pokemon Yes, or you Pokemon no. If you Pokemon Guess So, sooner later, "squish" justa like bug Pokemon!!
