I say that Blastoise is a prime Pokemon for water decks. If you have a lot of water energies in your hand, and you have a Blastoise in play, you can attach all of them to you water Pokemon in your bench or active Pokemon. This is a fire trainer's worst nightmare. Doing up to 120 damage max with weakness applied, Blastoise can bring down a Charizard in one hit. [Evil Smirk] [Devilish]

SPAM, SPAM, lovely SPAM, wonderful SPAM. Too bad this forum won't support sarcasm tags. We all know about Blastoise, and it's not been reprinted in LC. Old news. My Lockometer is going off the charts, and another topic shall soon feel the wrath of the *click*.

This is not SPAM. It is just advice on how to use Blastoise(Yeah, I know, we all do). But this guy(look at his Member ), is new.

Hey, I like Blastoise and you don't have to be mean about it. I was saying that it is a good card for water decks and some advice for using it. [Evil Smirk] [Devilish]

Thank you for not being mean about my article, GCFlaikine, but I'm a girl and even though I been playing Pokemon the day after it came out in America, I just found out about the message boards at wizards.com. I love Blastoise! It is 3 on my top 10 Pokemon list. Hope to see you October 11th for Pokemon 4ever in the theaters!!!

I'm not attempting to be mean, it's just that almost everybody here knows this. It's common knowledge. Sorry if it came across the wrong way.

In the early days of Pokemon tournaments, Rain Dance (Blastoise) decks held their own against anyone. Their biggest problem was base set Electabuzz.

It is still an awesome card--if you play at clubs or in Unlimited tournaments.

It is so good, then when Wizards decided which cards to re-release in the Legendary set (for play in Modified tournaments), Blastoise was left off. This is a compliment. Other powerful cards were left off including base set Hitmonchan, base set Electabuzz, Jungle Scyther, Jungle Clefable, and Jungle Wifflytuff. These left off cards were the best of the earlier days.

I personally have only seen Rain Dance once in the past year--and that was in an Unlimited tournament.

It remains my most fun of all Pokemon Decks.

This is your brother. The Blastoise card is good but it depends how many water energys you have. The charizard card might beat Blastoise with it's energy burn. You can take all the energys attached to Charizard and turn them in to fire energys. So Charizard can beat him if you play just right. I'm being mean or anything. It's just facts. But still, that can be an advange. [Smile] [Smile]
