I just need something clarified...

The supporter "Desert Shaman" from Skyridge states:

Shuffle your hand into your deck and draw up to 4 cards. Your opponent does the same.

Would I be right in assuming that your opponent gets to draw the full 4 cards, and not just the amount that you choose to draw?

If that is how it is written, you don't have any choice but to draw 4 cards. Your opponent draws 4 cards also. But i'd have to see the actual card as your text does not state "draw up to 4" in it.

I haven`t seen the card firsthand, but if it`s exactly as you list it in your edited post, then you shuffle your hand into your deck and draw up to 4 cards and then your opponent shuffles his hand in and draws up to 4 cards. You both have a choice as to how many cards you both want to draw.

Set the supporter next to your active pokemon.

Shuffle your hand into your deck. Then, Draw UP to 4 cards. (0,1,2,3,or 4)

Your opponent now gets the exact same effect. They shuffle their hand into their deck. They then draw up to 4 cards. (0,1,2,3,or 4)

The card's effect is copied as written, not the end result of your effect.

Not having pulled an english Dessert shaman yet, correct me if I am wrong

You shuffle, then draw up to 4

Your opponent MUST (or may?) shuffle, then may draw up to 4

If your Opponent MUST then I will love this card, even if they do get to draw up to 4. It screws up there eek, and if you know they have a good hand, or large one it can limit them to only 4 new cards at most. no to shabby

Well then why not just go to ZEO and check out the card scans?

Desert Shaman : Shuffle your hand into your deck and draw up to 4 cards. Your opponent does the same.

Yup messes with their hand.....
