Ok....normaly in a Slowking Deck they put Steelix but why don't they try Sicor.....only one Metal can do 60 damage to Fergilator and add 2 more colorless Energy can do 40 damage......the 2nd attack I'm not sure can do how many buy it can bring down those Big Hp Pokemon in just 1 or 2 attack......So what do you think......post your opinion here...... Are you talking about Scizor? If so which one? Doing 60 you must be talking about the Neo 2 one and if so what do you do after the first attack against Gater? Hope for good coin flips while Gater eats you for lunch.

It would be a decent care if it were translated 20+ in the text.

The only good Scizor is a Dark Scizor... 60 for 3 energy (Sure they must all be Dark, but hey...) And teamed with Good Anti Trainers it can Slow down Gator, it even has a Sneak Attack effect for its first attack, and abuses Dark and Steal Energy... 70 HP, and 90 with Hideout in Play...

Promo Scizor is better than the Neo one IMO. I like to use dark scizor with the promo scizor. However, if I were facing gator, I would not evolve to scizor! The other problem with the Scizor/king deck is its bigtime weakness to fire. I prefer to use Scarmory because it takes less space and therefor lowers the decks weakness to fire.

Dark Scizor is alot better, maybe if NEO D Scizor did 20 damage then fliped 2 coins for 20 a piece it would be ok, then it would be able to knock out any Pokemon in 2 attacks if your lucky. But Dark Scizor is a better pick.

Yeah...if somebody hadn't screwd up NDi Scizor, it'd be the best of the 3...but it does an average 20 for CCC...base ratatta is more consistant.

Dark Scizor, IMO, needs his own deck...4 Dark, 4 Metal.

The Promo Scizor...is better than the NDi one, but just cuz he actually has guaranteed base damage.

What? They banned slowking?

second turn, Croconaw and Porygon(R): Croconaw uses tackle, porygon makes croconaw (M) weak. Next turn croconaw becomes gatr, kills porygon. Scyther comes up, evolves to scizor, gets a metal, and goodbye gatr [Devilish] I think NDi Scizor IS the best of the three, you just need a good combo.

What about SHINING Steelix? rofl.

Quotes from Pojo COTD, Shining Steelix:
"Random
Shining Steelix! YAY! From the moment I saw this card, I fell in love with it. Just take a look....the sleek artwork, the 80 HP, the ability to use Metal Energy with no drawbacks, the overcosted tails-fails attack you can’t use next turn..... Picture this: your opponent has a powered Wigglytuff active, with a benchful of Pokemon that only have 10 HP left. What can you do with a lone Voltorb and a Shining Steelix? The situation looks grim.....but suddenly a bolt of inspiration hits you! You play Electrode, Buzzap two Metals onto the Steelix, then add another Fighting Energy to the one that was already attached, you send out Steelix, flip HEADS on Crushing Earth, drawing six prizes! Your opponent RESIGNS, while you take NO damage because of the conveniently placed Unown M on your bench! VICTORY goes to Shining Steelix! Or not ¬_¬
Seriously, this is one of those cards that makes you ask a lot of questions. Why was it made? Who created it? What substance were they under the influence of when they created it? And why is it a rare? So many questions....so few answers. But there is one critical thing to be remembered when dealing with Shining Steelix, some simple advice that can help you when deckbuilding.....

DON’T PLAY IT - EVER."

"Lord Gothmog

In modified, it's slightly less terrible here. If you play the GOOD Steelix, it's an addition I might think of if I had an extra slot. And I had a severe concussion. And I was intoxicated. And had a gun to my head. 2/5 here, with the lack of ER and the HP earning the extra point this round."

ROFLMAO. hehe. funniest reviews I've ever heard. [Big Grin]

k

C:cornvertion1 :change weakness
soo u changed the weakness 2 metal.....than retreat it the next turn becuz it has a free retreat cost..

than use scizors

MEtal:False swipe :deal damage = to half of the oppenent HP

kk for intance u were fighting wif feral...it has a full 120 life..
u use cornvertion1 and changed weakness 2 metal
than u retreat and use false swipe to 60 damage
+he weakness metal becuz of cornvertion1 it doesm 60x2=120..........wif just a metal u could kill the big feral monster

There is just one slight problem with this example... When the Croc evolves to Gatr, the effect placed by Porygon is removed!

So, Gatr just eats your Scizor for lunch and washes it down with a Gold Berry...

Question, with Conversian 1/False Swipe, is the damage done to a odd HP # Pokemon knocked out??? it says rounded down to the nearest 10, so say it attacks a 70 HP Poke, it would do half (35) rounded down (30), then doubled (60) leaving it with 10 HP... or would you apply Weakness before rounding??? I would imagine not, but does anybody know???

PS.. Even though I love this Combo, Dark Scizor is still my fave (it woulda been close if they hadnt ****** up Double Claw!!!).
Conversion 1, Slash with 4 Dark 100 damage... Plus 4 Steal to Protect it... not as deadly, but is splashable??? Plus can recall Svythers weak Agility and add Dark with no Draw back to make it more Powefull!

The first attack is not consistent and can't knock someone out. Also, being a Stage 1, 70HP, you can't compare it with Steelix. 30/50 by Turn 2 in Unlimited. Load it up with 2 Metals and Sneasel will even have trouble taking this guy down.

Which Scizor are you talking about??? NDi has 80 Hp, and none of the Scizors (unless NDi is teamed with Conversion 1) can knock anything out with there first attacks, heck NDi is the only one that even does Damage for its first attack....

As for Steelix, it can actually do a possible 90-110 damage on turn 2.... you just have to play it right......

LizardOTC: ROFL, but... *dusts off his ancient ORIGINAL base set cards, and carefully removes a decaying Porygon card*

(C) Conversion 1
If the defending pokemon has a weakness, you may change it to a type of your choice other than colorless.

Period, exclamation point. It DOES NOT say "Benching or evolving either pokemon ends this effect." So Gatr would be left kinda hungry, not to mention unconscious [Big Grin]

It says the same thing on the Team Rocket version.

I say just stay with Steelix (Steelix + Neo Rev. Aerodactyl is a mean combo with Focus) I suppose there are other choices though)

--------------------
The Evolution of Steelix:
My many Steelix deck versions:
Electro-Crush (Rockets Zapdos)
Steel-Slash (Rocket's Scyther)
Steelix's Memory (Neo 3 Aerodactyl)
Whirpool Crush (Umbreon, Dark Vaporeon)
Crush Down (Arcanine)
Kabulix (Kabutops)
Steeleon (Espeon, holo Discovery)

And maybe more to come!

New Project: Swap n' Memory Raging (Aerodactyl [Revelation], Alakazam [Base/LC])

Espeon is 1!
