In your opinion, which Gengar is the best?
Dark Gengar
Gengar Lc
Gengar E-card
Dark Gengar is good but everytime i play with it my opponent always wakes up. The Lc Gengar is Okay, I mean, 3 for 30 is not that great.
So I'd have to say that the E-card Gengar is the king. [Turkey2]

I like all three. The original one has a good power and attack. The E-Card one's power is so-so and it's attack is pretty good. Dark Gengar is my personal favorite. It's power is great and its attack is a great baby smacker. The tricky thing about Dark Gengar is that it functions best if a whole deck is built around it. I think Dark Gengar has the greatest potential, but the other Gengars need less support to function.

Ah...the immortal question.

Anyways....by far it's LC Gengar.

Why?

Okay..I'll tell you...

First and foremost...you can use it's power whenever...whoever thought that three prize thing was a good idea...well...nevermind

Second...It's attack is great. Attack, then set 10 big ones on a baby or somthing...next turn...Curse some damage to it...then attack again, putting ten more on it.

Want some more? Ok...I guess...

So...a baby dies, big deal, right?

check this out. Put down two or three Gengar...hit 'em a coupla times...keppin' your Gengars alive...curse all Damage from active to benched and BAM!!!! LC Magneton come out and rains destruction from the heavens (Chronotrigger reference baby).

Brilliant you say...I know...I was built this way...

Anyways...also, LC Geng has no weakness. Sorry Umb fans...not happenin'

And last, but not least...the LC art doesn't look like Joshman drew it...(hee hee [Devilish] )

Well, I had just built my daughter a really annoying
DGengar/Slowking deck (pull in x7 & don't take a prize, then SI Mew/Rainbow for KO x3. Now pick off the 30 hp pokes). Now, I don't know! Who can support DGengar and stop the switch!

If Slowking still allow in the Modified, Dark Gengar and Slowking will be the best combo for all the Gengar.

Without Slowking, I believe the Exp Gengar/Baby/Focus Band will be the best combo. The hit and run attack is very good. In most the case, you need at least 2 attack to KO the 90HP Gengar. This mean you need 2 Double Gust to KO each Gengar. The power of this Gengar is not very good, but it can help to disturbute the damage in the late game.

Dark Gengar. Its good because of the poke power(flip 2 coins if defending pokemon is a sleep)is just the best(one of the best). You can combine with that pokemon the one from revaluton..............nevermind. Its just great( hope this makes sense and my spelling is ok)

I think the Exp Gengar is better. This type of Gengar is hardly ever get attacked(unless the opponent uses Gust). The Haunter is Exp. is better than the Base Set one.For 50 damage, you might combine it with Strengh Charm.

Combine it with Colorless baby & no Retreat Cost like Igglypuff from promo. And remember use Colorless pokemon to fend off the dark.

I like Dark Gengar best. I pair it with Midrevous and Dark Espeon. The deck works well except on decks resistant to physic(thats the reason for misdrevous). It is prone to double gusts so include switches.

I'd say since most Gengars have Powers like the first(the moving of Damage Counters) the Neo-e and LC are the best, especially when put together

moving 20 damage from one pokemon to another in one turn could REALLY help you in some games, comboed with Dark Magcargo, you could kill a Baby in one turn after it is played without flipping for the stupid baby rule!! AND you'd still be able to attack!
