If this question has already been answered, please give me a link to the topic. I recently got one of the Feraligatr card with Major Tsunami. Am I right that if you have any Benched Pokemon, you must switch Feraligatr with one of them if its power is working (Powers on and no Special Conditions), or is it optional? Also, who chooses which Benched Pokemon becomes the new Active? It appears that, like Warp Point, each player chooses one of his/her own Benched Pokemon and switches it with his/her Active.

It's optional. Each player chooses their own.
