Well I was looking through RS cards that I got, and seriously I found some really ,and dare I... say "deck worthy" cards!

1) Pelipper
http://www.pokeschool.com/tcg/scans/ex_ruby_sapphire/pelipper19.jpg

First, read attacks 2 and 3, then read stock pile, now read all the attacks again. This is some cool pokemon. Able to recover up to 60 damage, do a max of 70(140 if weakness applied ^_^")

2)Linoon
http://www.pokeschool.com/tcg/scans/ex_ruby_sapphire/linoone38.jpg

Well read its first attack, you search for any 2 cards!!! Better yet, they go to your hand. (^_^) Its second attack is good for those lucky flippers [Wink]

3)Gardevoir
http://www.pokeschool.com/tcg/scans/ex_ruby_sapphire/gardevoir7.jpg
-- A decent Poke (^_^). Does damage = to the amount of nrgs on both you and the defender. Again quite useful in 2v2, and even on 1 on 1 it isn't that bad. Cool poke power.

4)Aggron
http://www.pokeschool.com/tcg/scans/ex_ruby_sapphire/aggron1.jpg
--Well it's a 2nd stage metal pokemon, that's something to get excited about(^_^). It can do a bit of damage, even on 1 heads. Decent alternative for 40 if you don't wanan risk it, or need to power up.

5) Sneasel EX
http://www.pokeschool.com/tcg/scans/ex_ruby_sapphire/sneaselex103.jpg

It's good ol' Sneasel, but less broken. Cool card nonetheless (^_^). Enough said.

Well ya, that is about it. Oh and remeber, these are the cards that I think are cool, I'm sure there will be those who disagree with my choices. Feel free to post cards you feel may be seen in decks (^_^)

i think the delcatty will be in almost every deck for the cannonball attack! 30 plus 10 for each energy attached (no limit) and his other attack just helps to power that attack up!!!

I like Dustox
-poke-body
-prevents all effects except damge to Dustox
-1G 1C Toxic automatic double-poison
-1G 2C Gust 50
-Psychic weakness (more useful than Fire)
-No Retreat cost!
-90 HP
Even better w/Wurmple's attack that searches for the next stage 1 & stage 2 cards. I see this being played.

Sorry but I don't see why gardevoir is good in 2vs2 [Frown]

Aren't there any other pokemon that have attacks similar to delcatty's?

Magmar EX is good because smokescreen gives magmar time to build up. Its second attack automatically burns the opponent, meaning if tails your opponent's pokemon will have 60 damage by the beginning of his/her turn. It is a basic that has 90hp which means it is tough to be knocked out.

Taichi: Think about it, there can be up to 4 active pokemon at a time in 2v2. So Gardevoirs energy+ (up to)2 defending pokemon energies= More Damage (^_^)

Jiden: Your opponent does draw 2 prizes, but EX'ers are usually more powerful then the regular Pokemon. And whether it is at the start of the match or near the end they can be quite useful. Of course right now there aren't many EX pokes, I'm sure we will see more useful ones in upcoming editions(^_^)

1) Linoone. Any two cards, flip 'til to you get tail (which can be good or bad), cheap attacker.

2) Pelipper. Would have been #1 if not for the fact that in several cases, the effectiveness of Stockpile is largely dependent upon who goes first. 70 HP isn't enough to have a 60/70 damage attack every other turn.

3) Sneasel EX. 'Nuff said there.

Mewtwo ex: 1st turn Juggler and discard 2 psychic then use Energy Absorption and turn 2 60 damage.

Sharpedo: Awesome power! What could be better than doing 20 damage when your opponent attacks and then using your own attack? Plus, special conditions don't shut it off!

Blaziken (Holo): This is a mean card! I made a Blaziken/AQ Arcanine deck that's pretty good.It is 4-0.Put 2 recycles and 2 fire on it. Then use Fire Blow, attach another energy next turn, retreat for free, use Fire Starter, then do it again.

Those are my top 3. [Razz]

I'm hunting for a shiny Vulpix and Grimer! :)

My best deck:
Shadow Curse-Gengar/Espeon
Tied for 5th at Comic-Con FAT.

Well, I feel in the mood for a BIG, DEEP list of various top cardss [Big Grin]

Best archetype from R/S:

Sceptile/Sceptile:

Unlike his water and fire counterparts, Sceptile's rare and holo versions are BOTH pretty dang good. The Holographic one is probably, in my opinion, the game's best special stat dealer. After all, it's pretty nice (and versatile) to have either 70 damage (though for a disgustinly high price of 3c, and 2g).

Then, his little brother steps in, and the day is saved!

The rare Sceptile is what can be consider by some as the new Venusaur. While Venusaur's attack is more solid, Sceptile's costs less, and could pay off bigtime. As you may have guessed, same Poke-power (Energy Trans). To top it off, Scepy's pro-water!

-Best Supporting Pokemon (Actors? [Confused] )-

Linoone/Delcatty:

Well, Linoone has SO much going for it. Think here, folks: this is arguably one of the best cards in the format. While the damaging attack won't do you much in the end, two computer searches for no flip, no discarding cards, and just one energy is quite nice!

As for the cat, the power can prove to be quite useful. Though it's not NEARLY as useful as Linoone's attack, the power prevents you from using/wasting an attack, yet still getting to obtain new cards. I also noticed the obvious combo with Oracle, as well. As for the attack? 2vs2 or team game with the uncommon Delcatty...*drools over the possibility*.

Best Big Basics: Almost every EX Pokemon

I personally like all the EX's, and see them played in a variety of decks (Yes, even the Kyogre one [Razz] ). However, Sneasel and Mewtwo stand above the rest, for VERY good reasons. Beat Up's back after a two year hiatus, and Mewtwo's just bigger and better, so woot!

Best stupid card: Breloom

oooh...Fighting/Grass>all. I might make a deck with him for fun...Sounds like a plan! [Big Grin]

--------------------
Erica total 24, thats right, 24.
Dunsprace total 41.
I've gotten 98 on that Machoke at work game. I beat Driving Corasola.
I almost beat the record in Hold Down hip hop. I got 2000 or so in Kinglers day. I got 7 in Rapadash's dash. Butterfree's Flower Power 4700. 123 In Jumping Dodoro. My all foil deck is finished.

My top picks changed a little after digesting the entire set. It is rather a combination of collecting and playing, which will explain my first two.

1) Phanpy -- Tops for cuteness
2) Skitty #71 -- Second for cuteness
3) Linoone -- Tops for usefulness
4) Pelipper -- Favorite R/S Pokemon at present
5) Nosepass -- Such a strange Pokemon

The funny thing is, I kind of made my Wants list before ever buying anything. In the three packs I've purchased, I have gotten (1), (2), and (4), and may trade for (3). Efficient findings.

I agree with you Taichi, doesn't it need to say both defending pokemon to add both of your opponents pokemon's energy cards? Also, the only pokemon mentioned belonging to you is Gardevoir. It wouldn't count the energy cards on your other active pokemon.

Sorry of u may already know this, but sorry to disturb you all.
In the next set after EX R&S, I looked at the new Wailord ex, Typhlosion ex, and the Azumarill. The Azumarill's first attack for ONE colorless says that you can attach as many water energies to one of your water pokemon, so you can play probably just like raindance. The new Wailord EX, has 200 hp with his main attack being 4 energies for 100 SUBTRACT every damage counter on him.
I was thinking you can power up one of your water pokemon like Wailord Ex on the second turn, but if ur using Wailord ex, you can quite possibly do 100 on the third turn if played right i guess.

Guys have a point there hmm I ask about that rulling. Btw I never did say both ure active pokemon, I said Gardevoir+others, sorry if I implied that ^_^".
Anyways, yah that Azumarril even w/o raindance could be a psychotic poke (^_^)
