Dark Houndom owns scyther. 2 nrg attack, fire, and a non fire basic are the strengths of this card. Add some tech and it's quite a deck. I'll post my lastest deck later today.

someone said to convert engery to mettal?
Cough.

Cough.

You can convert basic engery all you want to metal engery, it will only provide that for attacking reasions, but for all other reasions its still the basic engery card it was to begin with, look at the loop holes go.

Erica total 24, thats right, 24.
Dunsprace total 41.
I've gotten 98 on that Machoke at work game. I beat Driving Corasola.
I almost beat the record in Hold Down hip hop. I got 2000 or so in Kinglers day. I got 7 in Rapadash's dash. Butterfree's Flower Power 4700. 123 In Jumping Dodoro. My all foil deck is finished.

"I've got floating engery."
"I've got counter productive Powers."

No Porygon 2 does work because scizor doesn't say "each card whose basic/special energy card type is Metal."

Anyway, in general I've found that cards are never as "broken" as purported. Such dramatizations generally stem from exaggeration of the occourances of the best case scenario for the deck. That's not to say a card shouldn't be banned, it just means each card is rarely as powerful as it is made out to be.

Then again, I may be wrong. It's just a guess on my part. I'm willing to risk it, though, to find out (granted, it's not my decision to make).

Sorry, Porygon, the "floating energy" or "Basic Energy cards retain their name" does not apply here. Only Energy type is named, not "Basic energy card" or even "Energy card" (which wouldn't apply that ruling either, for that matter!)

Can I just say publicly that I believe I may have been wrong to slate Gymbo... having played one person and then experienced a Scizor in my own deck I have to say it's a formidable Pokémon, both in Unlimited and in Modified.

Gymbo, I am humbled... [Embarrassed]
Thought it would be fair for me to say it on the record.

The card Scizor itself is a problem, but the decks to counter it are a bigger problem. For now, it seems that only fire can beat it.
Scizor can even beat ER2, SER2, and even Blastoise decks head to head!

I dont think many players are willing to risk playing Fire just to counter Scizor, cause water is also played a lot.
