So it's been ruled that if you use TR Drowzee's Long Distance Hypnosis (assuming it's heads)and Misdreavus used Night Eyes last turn, Perish Song can be used. (Same goes voor Sleep!)
My question is, would retreating for AQ Hypno, using its PP, retreating again for Misdreavus, still allow the use of Perish Song (meaning the Defending Pokémon is KO'ed)? Or does the retreating remove every memory from Misdreavus?
We had a quarrel over this, since with Scyther and Swords Dance this was the case, but is this ruled the same way, as there is no selfreferencing.

Sworddance's effect resides on Scyther, that's why it goes away when Benched. Perish Song's "cost" that Night Eyes have been used last turn resides on the Defending Pokémon but since it is not an attack effect, the fact that the Defending Pokémon was attacked by Night Eyes does not go away when Benched (only if that Pokémon leaves play, Evolves, or Devolves). So:

1) Night Eyes is used against the Defending Pokémon.
2) The Defending Pokémon wakes up.
3) AQ Hypno puts the Defending Pokémon to sleep.
4) Misdreavous becomes Active and checks to see if a) was the Defending Pokémon attacked last turn by Night yes? and b) is the Defending Pokémon Asleep? Since both questions are answered "Yes", Perish Song words.

yup, this may sound weird but it was ruled that the memory of an attack doesn't go away when benched (either Pokemon). So, we're not talking about attack effects here, rather, we're talking about attack memory. SO, like BJJ said, things work differently when Perish Song is involved. Aquapolis Hypno's PP works great with Perish Song.
