Period, exclamation point. It DOES NOT say "Benching or evolving either pokemon ends this effect." So Gatr would be left kinda hungry, not to mention unconscious

It says the same thing on the Team Rocket version.

That's wrong. Here's a quote:

quote:
Q. Regarding Porygon's Conversion 1: How long does the effect last? If Porygon gets Knocked Out, does the effect wear off? If the Defending Pokémon retreats, does it wear off? Or both?
A. Conversion effects are removed (as all effects are) when the "converted" Pokémon goes to the Bench or evolves. Even if Porygon is retreated or removed, the Defending Pokémon is still affected. (Jan 20 WotC Chat; May 11, 2000 WotC Chat, Q20)

Confuse......make the weakness to darkness and attack with darkness pokemon.........
Not reliable and definitely not worth the effort. They play a Double Gust and screws up your whole combination. Better off just playing Crobat, since decks such as Tyranitar are easily crushed by Crobat and Typhlosion/Blaine's Arcanine or Entei/Magcargo.

quote:
If you guys are only scared of Feraliligatr, my Brock's Ninetales is bravest of all...
(Shapeshift into a disaster like Meganium or something. No grass energy? add some!)

A suicidal Pineco can help your deck immensely with 1 energy! just figure out which energy to add.

It's all a matter of hate.

Brock's Ninetales isn't safe. They use Magby or Igglybuff and Double Gust and your Evolutions hit the discard pile. Then Brock's Ninetales is prone to an FTK via Totodile, or a quick and easy KO via Croconaw/Feraligatr.

Pineco is a Cyndaquil FTK. Besides, it is not reliable. 50% of the time, the attack fails. 25% of the time, you Knock yourself out and damage each Benched Pokemon... Not worth it. Better running Erika's Bellsprout and a Darkness Energy to attempt the FTK.

Why bother? Umbreon and Slowking and Sneasel and Murkrow and Slowking have been proven to work well together. DOn't bother with the Confusing aspect as then you'll have to play another line or another type perhaps or a weak basic such as Porygon.
