hey, I read on the internet that swift goes trough metal, is that true? [Confused]

--------------------
It flies so silently through the dark on its four wings that it may not be noticed even when nearby./Although the wings it evolved on its feet allow it to fly at high speeds, they unfortunately make it difficult to perch.

I just read that too (on pojo) - here's the text of the attack (Skyridge Ledian):

"Swift This attack’s damage isn’t affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on the Defending Pokémon."

So I guess the Metal energy "effect" is negated!

Yes Swift goes through all effects on the Defending Pokémon. Similar to Feint Attack (though with Feint Attack you can attack the Bench, but Metal on the Benched Pokémon would reduce the damage).
