Hey use a gastly and haunter(expedition) in a battle of 1 on 1.When haunter is your active pokemon and you haunter has his enegy attached it.Use the trainer sleep.The trainer sleep says,flip a coin if heads the defending pokemon is now sleep.If the flip heads use the attack of haunter (dream eater)does 50 of damage to the defending pokemon.

The attacks of haunter are:
Nightmare:the defending pokemon is now sleep 20
dream eater:this attack doesn't work if the defending pokemon isn't sleep 50. [teach]

Sorry, but you're not the first to figure this out. It was also used with Base Haunter's Dream Eater, which does exactly the same thing as Expeditions, but this Haunter's first attack is Hypnosis. So, if Sleep fails, you can always try again with Hypnosis. It gives you a couple more chances to try to put them to sleep.

Also, no one really likes Dream Eater for the fact that you must survive 2 coin flips for you to use it one turn later! (If you use Hypnosis. If you use Sleep, you must survive only 1 flip, but you only have 4 chances to use it (at the most), and chances are that you won't get all 4)
