With 200 HP and an nice pokebody that heals itself when It's asleep. With the body you also play 4 leftovers, 4 dawn stadium, 4 buffer piece and 4 potion. The basic stratagy of the deck it to slowly do damage with your opponent not being able to kill your wailord.

Heres the begining of an example of what a list might look like.

4-4 wailord

2 Dre
4 heal energy
4 healer energy
10 water

4 Dawn stadium
4 leftovers
4 potion
4 buffer
3 Double full heal

4 healer energy
There is no such thing as this card... Or is it going to come out in a future set?

Reply to garchompx12:Actually, this doesn't belong in the deck thread since it isn't a 60 card list with a strategy and spoilers of the unreleased cards.

Please provide the spoilers for this stuff so everybody doesn't have to go track it down. Thanks.

In DP4 we will get:

Healer Energy
Special Energy

Provides 1 [C] Energy.
When this card is attached from your hand to your Pokemon, remove 1 damage counter from that Pokemon.

However I see the toughest part of Wailord being the 4 energy attachments needed to attack. Running 2 DRE just isn't going to do it. IMHO it's likely that you will need either Blastoise or a fair amount of both DRE and Scramble to really make it work.

Yes, but note that his list has both heal & healer energy. Also Heal Energy will be gone in the next rotation but is far better for now.

lol about Blastoise too ... and you can use Blasty d to remove weakness....

you don't believe me, but wailord is a good combination with gardy lv x. With dawn stadium, levotres, heal energy, buffer, etc is difficult knock down wailord, and he is the pokemon with most hp in the format, this add chances to knock out the opponent pkmn with gardy lv x. He is a stage1 pkmn, put wailord in play was easy with a good combination of balls of search card like celio or bebes.

Thats what I ment. Gardys no better with wailord then she is in her deck unless you just tech in a 1-1-1-1 line or a 1-0-1-1 line.

DP4 Pachirisu beats wailords face in when it has leftovers or buffer attached. for one colorless energy it does 80 plus removing the leftovers or buffer, plus discarding all the other leftovers and/or buffers in the hand.

I think you need the swarmpy DP4 which can trans the energies. Then you'll basically play like DWD, just power up one wailord and then when it's gonna go down, switch then give the energies to the new wailord.

Wailord can run WP and then what? Gallade flips all 6 prizes and STILL doesn't OHKO the Wail.

No Wailords biggest problem in the x2:lightning weakness. Vire OHKOs him. Ampharose can spread damage so that he's probably in OHKO ranage by the time he's active. Etc.

Totally forgot about the WP. Very true on that part, assuming you find it fast enough. I would assume there would be 4 WP in the deck, similar to Blissey using FF to cover it's weakness.

It would be a stretch but glacia's stadium may help
