I gotta say this year has been the craziest year for the NFL imo. Outta all my years as a fan this season or anything having to do with the nfl has been nothing but amazement! :cool: So I made my predictions of what will happen.

AFC Conference

1- New England Patriots
2- Indianapolis Colts
3- Jacksonville Jaguars
4- San Dieago Chargers
5- Cleveland Browns
6- Pittsburgh Steelers

So I pretty much stopped at the Divisional Playoffs games. Seeing this year has been nothing but shocking to almost everyone. Making a Superbowl or Coference Championship prediction right now isn't a wise decision imo because I hate eating words. Last year I said bears vs. colts in the superbowl. I was 100% accurate. Thoughts on your teams in the playoffs, in my predictions, on this post? Anything regarding football?

The differentials are shocking.

I still sticking with my preseason SB pick, New England over Dallas.
 
I'm still confident some team from each division will knock the Patriots and Dallas out of the playoffs (probably Colts and Green Bay respectively).

Sorry, Gdog, but your match ups are all wrong. First of all, the T4 in each conf. are the 4 divisional winners. The 2 WCs in each conf are 5 & 6 seeds. With that in mind, the T6 will be:

AFC: 1. Pats (Home field adv.)
2. Colts (bye)
3. Pittsburgh
4. SD Chargers
5. Jax Jaguars
6. Browns

NFC: 1. Cowboys
2. Packers (bye)
3. Seattle (owns tie break over TB, week 1 W)
4. TB Bucs
5. Giants (as bad as they look right now, they will squeak in)
6. Minn/Saints (I think it will be Minny though)

The only way this changes is if the Giants yak it up in Buffalo next wk, then they would have to beat the Pats week 17 (when the Pats are going for 16-0). Dont see that happening....so they could slide out at 9-7 if both Minny and Saints get above them.

I think Cleveland may end up taking the AFC North over Pittsburgh. They showed me a ton today by playing in a game with the conditions like that and showing they can run the ball if needed. They are tied and I don't know what the last two weeks are like schedule wise for them, but it wouldn't surprise me to see that happen. Also Gino, the wild card games aren't "bracketed" in. The #1 seed gets to play the lowest seed remaining, and the #2 team gets the other team that won. So if #6 beats #3, they play #1. But if #3 wins, they play #2.
 
Chargers will be the 3 seed, they have the breaker over Pit. Giants also aren't even a lock, they look like trash.
 
How 'Bout them Eagles. Sorry, I was an Eagle fan yesterday.Hopefully Dallas will lose again-then we can have Ice Bowl III!
 
I dont think Minnesota will make it as a wildcard, I think they may fall short.

But this is what I think will happen;



NFC Wild Card;

New Orleans vs Seattle (Winner New Orleans)

New York vs Tampa Bay (Winner Tampa Bay)

NFC Divisional;

New Orleans vs Greenbay (Winner Greenbay)

Tampa Bay vs Dallas (Winner Tampa Bay)

NFC Championship;

Tampa Bay vs Greenbay (Winner Greenbay)



AFC Wild Card;

Jacksonville vs Pittsburgh (Winner Jacksonville)

Cleveland vs San Diego (Winner San Diego)

AFC Divisional

Jacksonville vs New England (Winner New England)

San Diego vs Indianpolis (Winner San Diego)

AFC Championship;

San Diego vs New England (Winner New England)



Super Bowl; New England vs Greenbay

BUT! If Minnesota slides into the picture, then Seattle should beat Minnesota, and then Seattle should be able to face Greenbay and win as well. Thus the NFCCG Would look to be Seattle vs Tampa Bay.

Although I am not too sold on Tampa Bay, they are not the best in the NFC but the way the schedule is turning out to be, the matchups for Tampa is in their favor up the NFCCG if this holds true, Dallas is not good, I been knowing that all season, Greenbay is going to fall to Seattle if Seattle dont have to face New Orleans.

The AFC I dont think we will see a Indy vs NE in the AFCCG again, I think Indy is going to fall, New England vs Jacksonville could very well be the 2 best teams in the AFC fighting in the Divisional. I dont know if Cleveland can slide in as a wild card, they are good but the AFC is too tough and possibly if Tennessee gets in they could very well beat San Diego and then Tennessee would be facing Indianpolis which Indy should win and then we would be back to another rematch of last years AFCCG unless Jacksonville pulls off the biggest upset of the year.

This is all assuming NY even makes it in, if they dont beat Buffalo they are done because the last game is against New England.

6. NO or Giants

Queens beat Seattle behind 150 yards from AP and 100 from Taylor. Hold Seattle to 13 points and get a pick and 2 fumble recoveries.

If the Giants get in, then Tampa moves on. Giants simply can't do anything from December onwards. If NO, then NO will move on. They're just on a TEAR right now.

I won't go into the Divisional round yet, too many variables.

AFC:

3. Cleveland
4. San Diego
5. Jacksonville
6. Pitt

Cleveland can beat Pitt. They already have. That offense is simply amazing. If New England wasn't the story of the year, then Cleveland's Offense would be. High scoring game, but Pitt's offense is only above average, so they won't score every drive. Cleveland, OTOH, will. Cleveland wins, 45-35.

San Diego has been a MONSTER disappointment this year. Still, they have more talent than Jacksonville. The Jags, however, play with amazing heart, and that's a variable that I just can't ignore. Jags will probably win on a last second field goal, and Marty gets his redemption.

if you ask me I dont think San Diego was ever good to start with, when Marty was under control, it was his coaching that allowed San Diego to even smell the post season to start with, his way of coaching was designed and built to feature LT mostly, this is one reason why Antonio Gates is one of the best TE's in the game is because hes usually either the pass option or the block for LT. Notice when Norv Turner took over, he didnt go that direction and decided to go the team route, thats how football is today, its either coaching and designing your stuff around 1 player (Which has worked in college and NFL as proven) or you coach it as a team effort much like how teams like Cleveland, Pitt, New Orleans, and such does.
 
Bullados: Cleveland has NOT beaten Pitt this yr, in fact, the Steelers swept them, that is why Cleveland has to win the division outright. Any tie and Pitt gets the better seed.

At the start of the season I picked Green Bay to go 13-3, and they might even do better then that, imo if Green Bay hosts the NFC Championship, then they will beat Dallas, setting up Green Bay vs. Indy. Green Bay takes it.
 
I would have to agree with brendan on this one. The only reason that the cowpokes beat the pack is because 2 of our KEY players (Woodson, KGB) were out at the start of the game and our arm died in the 2nd quarter. allthough Rodgers did good for what he is....he's no Brett. NFC Championship game: Dallas vs the Pack= Packer Victory. SB= Patriots vs The Pack.... This should be a good game to see but if we keep woodson all over Moss we should be ok. Give it to Grant and it's over.
 
I don't have to make many more outlandish claims other than this: the Cowboys will be winning the Superbowl this year!
 
I doubt it.

like I said I wouldnt be surprised Dallas is knocked out in the Divisional, Green Bay may make it to the NFCCG but if they win it or not all depends on who they face.
