Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Tyranitar ex Delta-any good?

It was.
Empoleon can do the same amount of damage for the same energy cost, possibly snipe, and is worth one prize. All you lose out on is 20 HP really.

I ran the TTar EX for a long time, alongside the non-ex delta, 2 Smooth Over Magcargos, and Ray EX for when I was behind. The 2 hit combo is great, but not consistent enough in the current play environment. I tried my old TTar EX at cities, not functional at all. The cards needed to make it work well all rotated out.

Ebay or save it in a binder. I have 3, they live in page 2 of my binder. Sorry man!

I don't like it. It takes two hits to KO just about anything decent with this thing.Since ex cards don't see much play, the opponent will two hit KO you for two prizes, while you're two hit KOing them for one prize at a time.

While it may "look" decent, it is in fact horrible right now. Why play an ex that takes two turns to KO when Gardevoir level X "and" Gallade both do the same thing in _one_ turn?

Yeah, it looked good, but I guess there are alot of better cards out there, like what Cyrus said, Gallade, Empoleon Lv.X and Gardevoir Lv.X, espescialy because when your opponent KO's Tyranitar ex they take two Prizes. Plus, as Mew* said, ex's aren't played very much,so while your KOing something for 1 Prize, they're KOing you for two. And Tyranitar ex is a Stage 2,so much slower setup. Plus, with so many fast decks like Quicketune'your basicly gonna get KOed. All in all, a bad card. Thanks for telling me about this card before I made a deck with it. The person who traded me really ripped me off *mutter mutter mutter*. Oh well. Thanks again.

If you want to make a deck with Tyranitar EX d... I'd do it like, NOW.

Ya know Leafeon and Sceptile? They're both seen as highly interesting by several players... You can bet that grass decks will be played in States, which crushes Tyranitar (OHKOs are BAD). Even worse, grass weak pokemon (the new fossils, namely) are quite likely to be popular, thus causing even MORE people to play Grass.

You DON'T want to play a Grass weak stage 2 EX. Seriously. It's bad enough to be an EX... At least use one with no abusable weakness.

Yeah, I probally won't make a deck with Tyranitar ex. But I agree with Rai. Make it now, or Leafeon and Sceptile will destroy you. Infact, I think Leafeon/Sceptile will dominate States like Gardylade does Cities.

Because Leafeon is for sure coming out. Seriously just because the Japanese have it doesn't mean we will have it.

There would have to be something incredibly wrong for us to not get Sceptile (it's not even an LV.X, thus no reason to be pushed back). Sceptile alone causes problems for Tyranitar EX :/

^Where did I talk ANYWHERE about Sceptile?

Hectagonman, you didn't say anything about us not getting Sceptile. But what I think Rai was trying to say is that if I do make a Tyranitar ex deck (which I probally won't), I should make it now, and I completely agree with him.
