Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Player Stats

Vegeta ss4

Iron Chef Leader
I am not sure if I am putting this in the right forum but, oh well. I was wondering, why can't people view other people's player stats on http://www.go-pokemon.com. It is cool that I can see my stats and such but I just don't understand why we can't view other peoples. The only reason I can see the justification of that would be because of Sour Grapes. I think it should be open for viewing.

Anyone else agree with me or is the combination of Wendy's "baconator" and Game Fuel making me say stupid things?

Eh, I miss the 03-04 season, where you always knew exactly who played who.

i completely agree with you vegeta
first, I figured this would get more posts then 2 lol...

on track...ya, I asked the go-pokemon.com people and they said it is because of privacy issues....so they didn't tell me anything really. I feel, once you play, your playing stats should be open for viewing, it is a part of the game. it also shows you where the "big" event are and the best place to go for a tournament.

side note....is the RTC forum dead......?

I think what PUI should do in all honesty is have an option on the "My Profile" or whatever it is, asking if you dont mind showing up in your opponent's match results. I also think it would be cool to have the option where people can see your record if you would like.

Perhaps there were complaints or so it was deemed unsafe for children etcetera and parents didn't want the personal data shared. It's likely you'll re-attend a tourney you at some point attended and with kids/parents being split up through divorces etc. I don't know about how it was before though, I only started playing pokémon 2 years ago but I agree it's annoying you can't check people's match results etc.

You bring up a pretty good point. If it was optional to display detailed stats, the it wouldn't be as much of a big deal. One thing I find funny is that some players, set their name to be displayed as a bunch of randomly punched characters ldj924ongd, which I just made up. With a name like that, it would be tricky to figure out who is who since there are also people who say Not opted into rankings.
