Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

A quick question regarding prereleases...

Only rule I know is you can play what ever you pull. If you got 6 Basics of one then you can play them all if you want. Oh its a 40 card deck and only 4 prize cards. I think they have the rules at the pokemon site.

It's a booster draft. You get 6 packs to play around with, and you have to make a 40-card deck using the cards you get from those packs and Basic Energies only. No trades are allowed. You also get a neat little promo card, which is usually one of the better uncommons in the set.

If you need advice on how to build a great Prerelease deck, just give me a holler, OK?

Ok thanks!... waaaait, your confused! flip a coin! :D

comedic....

Anyway, yeah, their right. Except idk if confused guy said it right, if i pull 5 wurmple, i am allowed to play all 5 or 6 time space distortion and so on because it is a prerelease. Basic energy will be provided for you at most of the prereleases but idk if some people don't provide it. =/

If you pull 5 of a caqrd you can play with all 5. Example If you pulled 5 Time Space Distortion you can play with all 5, although many people will be like T-T! not fair!

It's a booster draft.

No it isn't, it's sealed play.

Drafting involves opening a pack, selecting 1 card, and passing the rest of the cards off, picking up the pile of cards passed to you, picking a card, passing the rest on.....

It's a sealed tournament. You get 6 packs, and you build a 40 card deck from those six packs. Basic energies are provided. You play a 4 prize card game, rather than 6. They are always a lot of fun!
