Brisbane Cities
19th Jan
Deck: Gardelade, same one but more Lades.

Ouch, The day started with a scar from crashed into a pole the day before... I am sure some of you remember the incident at the 2006 Nationals... Ah well...

So yeah... the day started and it turns out theres only 6 masters...what a bummer...however it was amazing that we have SO many juniors this year compared to last year.... 4? Whoa.

Let the round began.

Round 1: Vs Carlos - Garvdevoir,Milotic,random
I know what to expect from him since I told him whats good with Gardelade. I have the full advantage over him since he lacked Double Rainbows and Rare Candies. I took down a Gardevoir ex d and other stuff... and i secured a win thanks to a warp point
Second game but never happen due to time.
1-0

Round 2: Vs Paul - Flygon ex d
Got an early win thanks to smackdown of Jirachi ex he had in play and careful timing warp points to knock down his weak basics and had a Sonic bladed Flygon ex d. He was expecting to me to lose however i pulled out a win with Gardevoir X's Bring Down on his Flygon ex d to take the last prize
Second game.... was eh for me and was playing until like turn 10 when i found out that he didnt have the prizes out. Ouch, I feel sorry for him to have a game loss for forgetting prizes. Anyways still a good game.
2-0

Round 3: VS Alan - Infernape/Ninetales
Knowing that all other masters was defeated leaving only me and Alan with a 2-0 for this round. The game was amazingly long and close. Ninetales was somewhat annoying at times however it was close as i was worry of losing however he had some consistency problems and i had the win thanks to the great usage of Gardevoir and careful timing. On my last turn, with one prize left vs his two, i surprised him with a Psychic, a Strength Charm and a Warp Point to bring out my Gallade for the win against an undamaged and uncharged Ninetales. Whew.
Second games... Not finished...however he let me win or something, I forgot.
3-0

Round 4: Vs Jared - Gardelade, mirror
Jared is a Senior so the points etc wont be changed etc. The main difference between our Gardelades that hes running a Castway engine and he dont have latilok. The first game was really long and extremely close which fired alot of my brain cells however he got the win for the first game
Second game: With my brain fired already, i dont feel like playing and let him win on purpose since I knew my friend Alan won his game. So yeah
3-1.

So yeah.... With only 6 Masters this time, I took the win with the runner up being Alan who was like 0.05% on opponent opponent win away from first place. Whoa.

Anyways it was great today and here come props and slops once again.

Props:
Everything went well
Jared for winning Sr
Tyson for winning Jr
Johno for doing great in his first year of Sr
Alan for coming 2nd, better than last year's 4th. ^^
Once again, everything went well

Slops:
Lemme think... Just a small turnout for Masters,
and three of my Senior friends not making it.
And last, not getting an Infernape folder, that's all.

Now, im off to Melb now...Cya

wewt

i won melb cities. report is there

Melbourne Cities
20th Jan
Deck: Gardelade again.
Arrived at the venue close to 10 and hang out with John, Austin and co. Then comes more people arriving and there comes the round starts at 1pm
I was originally going to play Banette because of Duskqueen however Marcus went for Banette and Sean went for Absolkrow. ^^
Round 1: vs ??? with Gardelade...
Yes, a mirror. But his trainer line is weak. So yeah first game was a turn two win for me with a T1 slap followed by a T2 3 energies Gardevoir PK for the donk!
Game 2: Pretty long but I pretty much have the win alot of the time thanks to many early Gardes and Lades to beat down.
Win 1-0
Round 2: vs Tiffy with Raikou,Luxray,Mew ex, Ray ex
Tiffy is a player come from Traralgon. First game comes with a bad start however I topdecked a Multi for my Latios ex d and won the game when the Gardevoir SW hit the field. Second game was short since she only have like a couple of shinx out that went dead to quick Gallades.
Win 2-0
I found out that Marcus lost. My only worry that is Sean won against him over weakness.
Round 3: vs ??? with Exeggutor/Venusuar
Both games were bad for him since game 1, all of his Venusaurs were prized and I have quick Gardelades out for the win. game 2 a lone Bayleaf for him since he couldnt get anything, all beaten by a Gallade, or was it Gardevoir? I forgot. lol
Win 3-0
Sean won...that means I have to face him.
Round 4: vs Sean with Absolkrow
There were only one game and it was really really long with me took the win because of time as I was leading with 1 prize left to his two. So close. The matchin detail that I have sort of trouble setting up until I leaded for a Copycat then he Mars it the next turn and what was my next turn draw? A topdecked Copycat, used it to get 10 cards, got me fully setup and took a careful timing of attacks to make sure I do not make any mistakes. However, as I said earlier, the game was SO close. If the game dont end on time, I am sure he would have won... GG Sean
Win 4-0
Top cut, here I come.
1st seed: Me
2nd seed: Sean
3rd seed: JA
4th seed: ???, same one from first round
Poor Marcus, he missed the cut on resistence since he placed 5th...
So yeah. I got a rematch with the first round guy - Mirror....
I got quick gallades out and took out alot of his ralts and stantlers before taking the game.
Second game was awesome since I was mostly sonic blading to get easy beatdown on his 3 gardevoirs since if he try to do Bring down, he would have murdered his own Gardevoir since no other Pokemon on my end were 50hp left... GG mate, it was a great game
Win: 5-0
I found out that Sean defeated JA.
Sean...again with Absolkrow
Sean have the win so quick during first game because of his usual hand disruption.
Second game went to me thanks to his Umbreon Star start and my Gallades out to secure the win after a bit of a hand struggle.
Third game started with like 7 mins left and I have the win after he KO the ralts and a quick Gallade out to kill his two Absols since he does not have enough damage to secure a win because of time. So yeah, GG Sean, It would be so hard for me to win these games with Sean if wasnt for time. Ah well. Bad starts happens.
Win: 6-0
So, I have won the Melbourne City Championships undefeated. Now one more to go - CANBERRA.
Here comes props and slops for the day
Props:
Frank, for great judging.
John and Austin, great traders and stuff *loves the Mews and Darkrai*
Marcus: Great player & thanks for DP holofoil energies...
Sean: You rock, mate.

Everyone else; Thanks for everything ^^
Slops:
Lemme think... None. That's all.
Have a nice day. Three more days til I hit the train station for Canberra. Cya until then.
