Who do you think will win the most debates from the democratic candidates... Obama, Clinton, or Edwards? Why? I think everyone, except for Edwards, have said important issues and have shown some great ideas to shape the U.S.. I think Clinton and Obama are head-to-head in these issues.

Is this a poll? You might want to add something else to discuss so that this doesn't get locked really fast.

I'm quickly developing the view that we just need to burn Washington to the ground and start over.
Ummmm. No. I don't things gets solved by burning things to the ground lol. Plus, there are lots of people with businesses and homes in D.C. It would be pretty senseless to burn 'em down too.

Wow this is real excitement. I vote we just put all the candidates in a ring or octagon, last one standings wins. I bet it would be Clinton she is much more of a man then the rest of the bunch.

But... but Huckabee would summon Chuck Norris! Then what?

Huckabee ftw. DUH! Lol I watched the debate lat night, and as said, I think Edwards did his best tonight. I'm not pulling for the democrats, but it was pretty funny to watch Obama and Clinton have a verbal cage match last night.

As do most Americans after a stint of Republicans in Office, or when something goes wrong that the "people" dont like.

Thats true for either party. :thumb:

Here's a rule that should be at the top of every casual observer: don't assume anything, especially when throwing around the word "most."

It isn't the stint of "Republicans" being in office that makes Americans so angry, so much as a stint of "Bush."

Re the topic poster: if you're actually keeping close track of this primary contest, then how could you say the Democrats are more interesting? Their debates have degenerated into a Jerry Springer affair: i.e., squabbles over who is the best president for a vaguely-defined 'change," who best honors MLK, who said what about who, etcetc...

Meanwhile, the Republicans are actually debating every relevant issue, including Iraq (Ron Paul makes things very interesting). Sure, they've gotten caught up in one or two minor battles (one instigated by Giuliani versus Paul, and the other instigated by Romney versus Giuliani), but the Republicans are not absolutely consumed by it.

You know that the former First Lady and the Illinois Senator are going too far when Howard Dean tells you to calm down. Heeyah!

Where do you see, "their debates are more interesting to watch?" Notice how it's interpreted in the very post you quoted.

My point was simply that because there's so much worthless bickering among Democrats, and because said bickering has become mundane, the Democrat field is not interesting to watch anymore, unlike what 93 says.

Anyone who digs up kindergarten essays to try to make someone look bad would be a terrible president.

I also hate that they bring up all the crap these ppl did in college. I can think of very few people who DIDN'T do stupid stuff at college. If they are seriously running for President, then they've straightened their lives out well enough from that point. Don't bring up teenage stupidity in debates. In fact, don't try and assassinate character in these things. Talk about the issues, and then I'd be willing to listen. I have no problem with talking about issues, even with negative advertising about the issues. It shows me that the candidates are at least on track with their thinking, rather than just being in it for the job and the prestige.

And my point is that 93 doesn't seem to be saying that at all.

I don't think it really matters tbh. The world's already fallen apart so just let anyone run it.
