If your traveling to this tournament, I recommend a different hotel to stay in.

The Holiday Inn overnight rooms are being remodeled. Now when I say that I mean they had a roof leak that got repaired, and are now repairing walls ect. So they are completely rippping out drywall and replacing it. The tournament is on the other side of the place, so it doesn't effect us. However, trying to sleep in a room it might.

Yes, yes it is. Whoever wins MI states is bound to win GL Regionals.

And Regionals should be a lot of fun. Will have the details on that in the next few days. The location has been booked for some time now, but I go to talk to the hotels later this week to see what kind of deals I can get on rooms. Didn't want to post any details till I had all the details, well most of them anyway.

In case you don't want to wait though, here is the venue:

And this is next door (as in walk across the small section of land separating them):

There are 3 brand new hotels nearby (walking distance), rates are really good since it is the off-season in the area. I am gonna see if I can get them lower, and when I am done I will post Regionals details,

Jacob's trying to go, but his dad's not gonna let him carpool with us out of state, so I dont know how thats gonna work.

We're looking at a Motel 6 near the Holiday Inn. Pretty cheap rates, especially if you're only planning on staying one day like us.

We're looking at only 3 max in our car. A couple of my others are poor and can't afford to help the carpool rate. A good amount of Ohio will still be there.

Hopefully after winning 5 cities I'll be able to do well here. Or I'll get squashed like a pumpkin. Either way is good for me.

There is also a Hampton inn nearby, once again, don't stay at the hotel formally known as the holiday inn..

To explain this..

The hotel is changing names in the next few weeks, so if you get on the holiday inn website you can't find it. The change to Clarion isn't done, so you can't do it there either. So if for some unseen reason you want to stay at the hotel you have to call the number above.
