The Cards
Empoleon
The main attacker. The ability to do 3 for 70 and possible 20 is O.M.G. good. It has easily the best lower stages out of any other pokemon, which makes it OK to not be able to get that Empoleon out. It's first attack, 2 for 40 to anything, just finishes off the fact that this card is just so good. Being water doesnt hurt either
Mawlie
This card just screams Gallade tech while also being a semi-decent starter. That anti-Gallade is the fact that it can flip over your opponents prizes, rendering Sonic Blade almost useless. But, being able to use the effect of any supporter found, definatly doesnt hurt. Now, I'm not saying that this is the best starter ever, or even for this deck. But in a metegame packed full of GG, it might be just what the doctor ordered!
Crobat
While looking for a card, that was perferably psychic(didnt have to be) could beat most of the feild, and had some sort of synergy with Empoleon, Crobat answered my prayers. I tried MANY MANY MANY things, but this is easily the best. 2 for 50 TO ABSOLUTLY ANYTHING ON THE FIELD is another O.M.G. attack. Its Power helps alot too though. Being able to Poison the defending pokemon for 2 counter instead of one is amazing. I can OHKO a Gallade if it has just ONE damage counter on it(with Lake Boundry out). And yes, the only thing making this card so overlooked is the Flip. But if you have a better suggestion, go ahead. Suggest it. I'll test it. Unless I already have.
Unown G
This is, in my own opinion, the best card in GE. Its WP+Basic Water that is Mentor/Roseanne's(able). It DOESNT get discarded by Pachi(which I expect to get played) and the only downside is that it takes the place of your only tool on a pokemon. ****, even its attack is good! 2 for 50? Wow!
Pokemon Overview
I really do believe that this is the best Pokemon Line for this deck. I dont believe that there is ANYTHING better than Crobat for the purposes of this deck. The only thing that I'm debating is the Golbat, and the Mawile. So far they're the play. But I've only tested 10 Games, so i may be wrong!
Trainer Overview
I'm rather shaky about my trainer line. So far it seems ok, but I really dont know. I feel like somthings missing. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
The Strategy
I want to start with Mawile. Mawile allows me to flip prizes and use Supporters that I find, This is semi-decent, but its a good starting place. It also boosts my GG Match-up. I want to get Empoleon up as fast as possible, though a Prinplup start early doesnt hurt. The faster I get it, the better I'll do obv. Empoleon ***** Magmortar alive(Which you really cant disagree on) and Crobat is here to help improve GG Match-up, and also it ended out improving all match-ups.
