Strategy: Gallade uses its first attack to bring a bunch of the opponents Pokemon's HP down to 50. Late game, after the spreading is done, Cresselia Lv.X comes and cleans up 50 HP Pokemon by using its Poke-Power to move one damage counter to the active with 50 HP remaining, and now it would have 40. Next it uses its attack that does 40, and that Pokemon faints and you get two prizes for the KO, but if it is a Pokemon ex, you get 3 Prizes! Gallade can also handle serious threats fast with its second attack that can deal some major damage for an immediate OHKO. Gardevoir and Kirlia help setup. Gardevoir Lv.X is great for picking up Pokemon hiding on the bench. Absol is the ideal Pokemon to start with, as it disrupts the opponent, slowing them down, and giving you time to setup.

you might want to take out the stray pluspower and add one more strength charm.
if you use gallade to weaken them and then finish off with cresselia lv.x what's the point of having a gardy level x it seems like a waste of space and could slow down the deck.

Good idea. but 3 Team Galactic's Wager and 1 lone Plus Power? and whatever you do, DON'T take out 1-1 cress/X because if one's in the prize it could shut down your deck. where's the scott? you need it to get out moonlight stadium.
-1 Plus Power
-1 Team Galactic's Wager
+2 Absol
and also, keep gardevoir X in because after you use sonic blade your opponent has damaged up pokemon. Another suggestion would be.....
-1 Double Rainbow
+1 Gardevoir X

the biggest issue with Cresellia has been mentioned in multiple threads - it takes three turns to power it up with no acceleration since you can't DRE it or Scramble it. Cresellia will not work without accelerations, you need PK gardys (the only G&G variant that should run gardy PK)

I see your point. I'll probably remove the Gardevoir Lv.X from the list later, unless I find a use for it. Thanks!

i think you could slim down to 1-1 cress X IMHO.....
I'm really iffy on doing this, I was only really going to do it if I go with a starter. Then the Cresselia line would basically just be a tech to finish off the game out of nowhere. But I do like the idea because it's cheaper :thumb:. Thanks!

Well, the lone Plus Power is just there for when I have a Buffer Piece attached, or a Strenth Charm, and I still want to do the extra damage. That was one of the things that I was debating on. I always play Team Galactic's Wager a lot now because so many people in my area play Furret to set up, and TGW really messes them up since it essentially wasted their attack. I'm still debating whether or not to keep the Gardevoir Lv.X that the list has, but I don't see a second one being useful. But Absol is one of the things that could possibly help this deck. Thanks!

Yep, I guess I'll swap one in. Thanks!

Starter plz??

Stantler start would be nice,Gardy Pk needs to be in this deck to cut it down to two turns.
If I'm going with a starter, I'd be going with Absol, becaus Absol seems to see a lot more success than Stantler. But I do like the idea of Gardevior PK. I'll swap a Gardevoir SW. Thanks!

I'd personally stick with reg G&G cuz this deck doesn't have as much early game disruption..anywayz I'd maybe run a a secret lake boundary tech for a str charm cuz if your playing a mirror or blissey deck that one kill could sometimes mean the game .. trust me i know from experience

im running this deck
Great! Tell me how things work out for you!

Well, I could make it so that the Cresselia is only a tech, then it would be almost the same as Absolade. Yeah, I was thinking about the Lake Boundary idea, and I kind of like it. I'd need to squeeze a Scott in here to make it effective. Thanks!

One possible alternative to Gardi PK is the humble Energy Switch. It's not true acceleration but moving even a single psychic energy from one Pokemon to Cress speeds you up a turn.

good point, teleporting does the rest

this would really change the late game, by letting you take that last couple flipped over prizes
in 1 turn you can power cresselia x with gardy pk and energy switch i don't like the pk one but since cresselia moves the conter anyway it's a godly combo

1-1 should be fine you only need it late game taking extra prizes when they haven't been flipped over completely goes against this deck and by the time your prizes are flipped you will be able to guarentee having your 1 copy

Yeah, try to put in a Scott. About the Lake Boundry, it's AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumb:
I'm actually reducing the use of Cresselia in the deck, so now it isn't really needed. Thanks!

lol this deck isnt legal 3 lvl xs i dont think so :)
Nope! Anybody can play all the Lv.X cards they want, as long as there aren't more than four of each with the same name while including the form it levels up from. :thumb:

You can only run one star, not only one lvx, you can run as much lvl x's as you want in a deck.

I just removed the Gardevoir PK, since Cresselia is really only a tech now. I'm guessing by the time Cresselia is need for action (which should be late game), it should have enough energy on it by then. But the Energy Switch is an interesting idea since the deck has free retreat possibilities. I'll probably do some testing with that once I get the Cresselias for the deck. Thanks!

Great point! I just reduced the line to 1-1. Now Absol is the starter. This will also help reduce mulligans by adding three more Basic Pokemon to the deck!

better if they don't play absol but you never know what an absol can discard

i gave up on using absol with gallade, it's to inconsistant, and there are too many cards that fry it use a starter instead

overall: pretty decent deck - wonder how'd this do against a regular G&G deck w/o cresselia in it
The Cresselia tech should give me a slight late game advantage. I've been testing this deck a little in Redshark, and it is not too, bad. But I never really reach a long enough game to use Cresselia because I start pwning too fast to get it out .

So do you think Furret is a better choice?
