Yeah yeah, there was a Bleach thread like a year ago, before I started watching, don't kill me with "ZOMG THEREZ ALREDY BEN A BLEACH THREAD!!!!1". It's just I don't wanna revive something that's dead. So anyway, there are some things I am hoping you guys could shed some light on (Or at least debate on them).

1. If Nnoitra exiled Nel from the Espada because Nel was higher-ranked and female, why doesn't he do the same with Halibel? She is higher ranked Espada then him, after all, and may be even more powerful, if not has equal powers than Nel. Yet he has never even mentioned (At least, to our knowledge), that he wants to kill or exile Halibel.

2. If I'm not mistaken Pesche and Dondochakka were Nel's Fraccion, correct? Then how did they get back Hollow Masks and become regular hollows again? In fact, weren't their masks completely ripped off by Nnoitra? What's even more confusing is that, even though their regular hollows, they still can use zanpakutos and cero. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

I don't recall Pesche and Dondo saying they can use Zanpakuto. And cero is a Hollow ability, not an arrancar ability.

Possibility for Halibel is if she's ranked higher than what Nel's rank was (Either the first or second Espada) Power level difference between Espada might be quite high
 
Well, when they're fightin Syzael, don't they take out zanpakuto's to fight him? They do refer to them as 'Katana's', katana's arn't giant metal clubs with spikes, as per Dondochakka's. And cero can only be used a Menos class hollow, which I'm guessing can be acheived by regular hollow's by becoming arrancar.
 
Still not a Zanpakuto, unless they said it's a Zanpakuto. And I don't think their ranks as Hollows were ever mentioned
 
Well, in order to use Cero as a regular Hollow, they'd have to be Adjuchas or at least evolving Gillian. If that was the case, wouldn't Pesche have been a bigger help when he and Ishida were fighting Cirucci?
 
Actually, that link says that Menos can use Cero, it doesn't specify a class unless I'm missing it...

Also, anyone else think Kenpachi is in trouble against Nnoitra? Even without his eyepatch on, Nnoitra gave him a pretty serious blow there, and of course the chapter ends >.>
 
In order for an Arrancar to change form, they have to release their zanpakuto's, which Pesche and Dondochakka never did. And they'd still have human faces, even after releasing them anyway.
 
Remember that Gillian and Adjucas are classifications of Menos, not of Hollows. From what I can tell, regular Hollows don't have any sort of classification.

This leads to a whole new set of questions regarding Glutoneria being a Gillian. As was stated many times early in this arc, the Gillians are all exactly the same, the "footsoldiers" of the Menos. However, Glutoneria has at least one special ability (absorption), and he said that he was classified as a Gillian before becoming an Arrancar.

Haven't gotten to that part yet. I usually watch the anime before reading the manga.

This is explained in the manga, I beleive. Gillians are made when Hollows eat other hollows, and sometimes they gain their own individual personalities, looks and abilities. These are the only ones who can become Adjuchas, apperently.

Funny enough, I was also thinking that, it should be about time.

Also, my theory regarding Glutoneria:

Any hollow can become an arrancar, though most are at least adjucas because they're the mid-way point in terms of power; only the vasto lorde (which has yet to be seen) are more powerful iirc. I think most gillians aren't turned into arrancar simply because it wouldn't be worth it, as gillian are typically weak; Glutoneria is an exception due to his special ability, and probably from the various hollows he'd eaten made him an exception from the usual gillian (note all menos and gillian eat other hollows, but don't necessarily get their abilities and such).
 
My theory:

Any hollow can be turned into an Arrancar.

Mostly, for randoms, Gillian are used, because they are so plentiful. Also, because normal-hollow Arrancar would be super weak, unless it was some "super-special-awesome" hollow like the Grand Fisher. Thus, through that logic, Gillian would still be the most plentiful Arrancar, as well as the weakest.

Most Arrancar we see are Adjucas-level.

We may or may not have seen a Vasto-Lorde Arrancar. (Uluqiora [sp?] looks too much like one to be positive he's not.)

All Espada are Adjucas or higher, except for Glutoneria, who was stronger than most Adjucas Arrancar.
 
Hey guys, I was just reading the manga's first chapter when I noticed something:

Who is this girl?

This is clearly showing all of the main characters in the whole story (Since Shinji is on it and yet does not appear until after the SS arc.) I'm guessing it could be Nel, because the hair color looks somewhat green, but idk.
 
Yeah, Glotoneria is his zanpakuto's name.

Speaking of which, I wonder what an Arrancar Zanpakuto's Soul looks like. Maybe their Hollow prehaps?
