Haven't worked out all the kinks yet.
Goal is to get a T3 Marshtomp attacking.
It seems slow but it's not that hard.
Then hit anything you want for 30 and spread. Make sure you don't get ahead on prizes unless it's inevitable or beneficial because Scramble is crucial to the deck. Once your first Marshtomp hits the grave you can send up another one w/ Scramble energy. Keep on doing the 30 spread w/ Tomp until you run out of scrambles or all of em die. Try to setup an Amphy as well. Amphy will add on to the spread OR it will flat out force them out of playing a supporter. Amphy late game won't do anything sadly.
By this time everything should be in OHKO range or close. Eliminate the immediate threats by dropping Absols down, and eliminate all other threats w/ Amphy as your finisher.

Yes, I was looking at that card... hmm hmm. Amphy is a good thought, but its hard to get out. I'm interested in a build with a couple Swampert instead for taking prizes & switch the energy around to be able to use 1,1 Absol & Rayquaza. I'd like to try the space for buffer piece.

I think you should use Swampert. Like 2. They are GOOD, man. Sure, you can spread all you like with Marshtomp, but Swampert allows you to finish the fight, as then everything is within your KO range.

Now that I think about it...starting with Absol ex isn't that bad, especially for this deck. If they KO it, you are basically behind on prizes the whole game!

OK...sign me up for the testing team! I'm retooling this build, and I've been playing around with Octillery and Lapras instead of Absol and Ampharos. I know, Lapras seems like a bad play, but if they KO with pachi, you get your scrambles activated!

Lapras is a beautiful starter. More Castaway? Yes, please! It's an amazing way to start off water decks, particularly ones with water energy movement so Lapras isn't hogging energy later on.

Now, a 2-1 line of Mantine at least is in order too, should you use Lapras. Free retreat on half your pokemon plus the ability to search for more pokemon is brilliant. Makes Warp Point scary no more. Makes Swampert able to move energy, without having to lose it to retreat costs. Beautiful.

I'm not sure how much I like 4 Absol EX though. Sure, it might not be terrible to start with a Psychic Pulser. But there's gotta be better tricks you can pull off (IE: Lapras + Cessation Crystal/Amulet Coin). And if you start with it, that's one less Dark Eyes you can use, even with 4 Super Scoop Ups...

I'm just not sure what you should be doing the first two turns of the game. Evolving and...? Pachirisu used in other decks will be flooding the scene (hah, perfect for you, but the little squirrel's 70 HP can be annoying, as can it's tool discarding tricks if you tech in any tools). Absol used in oddball decks will try to discard everything in your hand, though there won't be too much for it to nail (Ampharos and...?) Meanwhile, you aren't even spreading damage in the first 2 turns of the game. The fastest you can spread damage is turn 3. :/
I don't get the feeling that Ampharos is the best friend for Marshtomp, when you could play a quicker spreading stage 1 (IE: Octillery) for 6 slots and get more use then the 5 slots of a stage 2 line. Swampert's a plenty good and solid pokemon to end games with; not much likes taking 80 damage (from a water nonetheless! Bye bye Magmortar~) from a 130 HP pokemon (a pain for late game... ANYTHING, really).

i like this deck reminds me of speed Empoleon and with the ampharos just makes it that much better. don't forget about ampharos' attack it does 20 damage to anyone on your opponent's bench that has energies on it already so i'll help with the OHKO range.

Swampert will be good when you can predict that your marsh is gonna get knocked.

two things can happen

KO the defending

or

switch with warp or switch and move energies from your swampert to the knew marsh to continue to spread

Hmm...I'm not so sure about a secondary line. The Octillery isn't working as well as I thought it would. I'll switch back to Ampharos and see how it goes. Lapras is a MUST in here, because it fills several important roles: set-up, disruption (w/ tech CC), and Scramble bait.

I would definetly put swampert ex in that, I mean, 80 +20 on the bench in a spread deck seems nice. And it can recover big energy loss

How are you going to get a main atatcker really going? Amphy is hard to get out, and bad Gallade weakness. Marsh will slow down later, and may keep getting OHKOED. Swampert GE doesn't do it, what are you going to do when you need a big hitter?

CG Marshstomp is nice,30 to 2 is nice and can be helpful in larger KOs.

-Absol Ex
+Swampert Ex

4 Absol ex is overkill cuz u can start with it and that would suck badly that means its 2 free prizes for your opponent.

OK
I am thinkin sumtin like dis to give me an alternate attacker.
4-4-2 Empoleon line
4-4-1or2 Swampert line
3 Absol ex
then you keep the trainer line similar and play 4 Scramble, 10 Water, 2 Fighting for energy.
SO, what you do is T2 Prinplup and hit everything for 10. Do this until Prinplup gets KO'd. Then bring up Marshtomp and Scramble it for 30 and 10 to everything else. Then keep on bringing up Marshtomps until you run out of em or scramble and Empoleon is the finisher.
