Ever since Blissey came out, I knew that there would be a way to make it amazing. It Steam Rolled through BR's, but almost died with SW. Well, with that release for some good cards in GE, I thinks its more than back!

Pokemon:
4 Solrock(Sol Charge is simply amazing for Blissey)
3 Lunatone(Gravity Change gives more Draw Power + Puts energy in dicard Pile for Sol Charge.)
3 Chansey (Usually, I dont like playing 3/3 Blissey, but this time its right.)
3 Blissey (The Fat Egg. Main Attacker, TANK!)
2 Skitty PK(TAIL WHIP GO!)
2 Delcatty (Energy Draw Yadda Yadda)
1 Delcatty EX(Anti-Decking+Great Late Game Attacker=WOW)
3 Unown G(Makes GG not an Auto loss, plus gives me many matchups.)

Pokemon Overview
This is the best pokemon line up IMO.I do feel that 3/3 Blissey is right because 3 really is all you need, but Night Main allows me to have a 4th, 5th, & 6th Blissey if need be. The only thing that I think that I could do different would be taking out Delcatty(but leaving a 1-1 Delcatty EX) and lovering Lunatone(Which would lower Consistancy BTW) for a meta-game tech, but I dont know how well that would work. It would have to be something like this:

-1 Lunatone
-1 Skitty
-2 Delcatty

+2 Shuppet
+2 Bannete

But I really dont know how that would work. What do you guys think?

Trainers:
3 Mentor(This>Roseanne's. It put energy in the discard pile + sets-up early draw. 4 for Consistancy!)
3 BeBe's(This>Celios because I can search out Delcatty EX plus gives me some extra Anti-Decking)
4 TVR( 3 Plus discard and Energy FTW)
4 ER2's (Discarding energy's is great disruption and could leave them optionless on their next trun)
3 Windstorm Getting rid of CC's and Stadiums/Tools that help my Opponent could be crucial. Might take out.)
1 Stevens(Potential 6 straight cards! Might get rid of thought because of the fact that I rarely have a little enough hand)
2 Night Main(Replaces Unown G's that were 'Storm'd or a Blissey line for late game strength.)
1 Warp(Gets rid of that big bad Gallade or whatever for an easier KO that could give me that last prize FTW!)

Trainer Overview
I really cant think of another path for the trainers other thant this. The only think I might do is -1 Stevens + 1 Warp OR -2 Steven +2 Whatever Metagame tech I chose. I really wouldnt mind an extra Warp though, because that disruption fact is really nice, i might even want to try ER2's to get rid of much needed DRE/Scramblle's on the opponents pokemon.

Energy
6 Fighitng Energy( Having a fighting to attach first turn to a Solrock is very very very crucial.
4 Fire ( This + Holon FF = An Easier GG matchup)
4 Holon FF( See above on Fire, but it also adds pertection for the abundance of Colorless Resistance.)
4 Boost( Extra 30 could give me the Game)

Energy Overview
When I was first building this deck off of ideas, I thought this may be way to much, but after extensive testing, its easy to say that this is the perfect amount. The balance of basic energy is great so that I have a Fire,Fighting, and HOLON FF,
on EVERY Blissey no matter what!

Strategy
I want to start with Solrock and abuse it to give extra energy Accel. onto Chansey/Blissey. Energy Draw/Gravity Change gives Great draw AND puts energy in the Discard for Sol Charge and Happy Chance.

THis isnt an Autoloss, but its VERY important that you get set-up fast. you'll Almost ALWAYS take the first prize though because every varients Starter is weak to Fighting. If you can get a turn 3-4 Blissey doing 70 a turn with a HOLON FF + Fire +Unown G, you SHOULD be set, but you better hope that they dont get extremly lucky with turn 2-3 Gallade. Gallade is what makes this deck so hard. Gard X and Gard arent really problems, but Gallade is a MONSTER.

Very easy matchup. Being able to abuse Night Main and UNOWN G is VERY important. They have low Damage Out-Put and low HP. This deck COMPLETLY relys on Poison, which Unown G prevents. If you lose, its because you had a bad start or couldnt get out Unown G.

Reference Scans
Solrock
Lunatone
Unown G
Blissey
Delcatty
Delcatty EX

lol that isnt luck, that is called a decent list.

You really only need 2 Lunatone. You will only have 1 on the bench for Solrock, so that is 2 spots.

As for GaG decks, trust me it is not all luck based. After going through BRs and CCs, it is the deck build more so than the luck of it. A good list can easily pull T2/3 Gallade!

Gardy should be more your concern IMHO! Gardy Psylocking you kills the deck. You can't use any powers so now your back to the single attachment per turn. It may sound funny, but you really need some more regular Draw in there. Whether it is Rowan or something else, 4 TVR won't cut it when your Locked down, and after looking again, no Windstorm. One Cessation and you prolly just went GG!

Just some observations since I have been playing Bliss for a little while now. 4 T4 in Cities with 1 win, and 1 second lat in the season.

Spots on the bench is not a big deal here. All i need is 2 free Spots(One for Delcatty and one for Back-Up Blissey) I might drop one, which I'm ok with, but dropping 2 would make me fear inconsistancy.

Yes, just like I can get off t2 70, but it requires luck to have a Ralts, RC, Energy AND DRE, Celio/Gallade. Takes SOME luck. thats 5 Cards needed. I'm not saying its impossible, or that the player might not get that often, but it still requires luck.

Well, once I get a blissey up, I'm not to worried about powers OR draw. I DO have stevens so Its not like I'm stuck with TVR. And i'll definatly have more than one energy in the discard at any given time. PLus, by the time I'm attacking with Blissey, I'll 2HKO Gardy while they 3HKO My blissey. Windstorm is defiantly not needed.

ROFL, I <3 you Fish! You dont need to prove your creds to me! You still owe me a Game BTW!

You're running a 3-3 of your only attacker with only 2 NM?

Definitely drop 2 of each solrock/lunatone. They aren't even that important. Add in a 1-1 line of Blissey, 1 NM, and a Copy Cat/ Warp Point/ something actually useful.

Well, seeing as the 'Unimportant' Solrock and Lunatone have proven to Both A) Increase Consistancy by an substantial amount and B) Provide Speed and Draw, I think I'll keep my 'Unimportant' cards that win apparently 'unimportant' games.

kthxbai

Like I said before(If you read the entire first post) 3-3 is More than enough. If they can kill 4 Fully Powered Blisseys, they'll be able to kill a 4th no matter what. And guess what *GASP* 2 NM is MORE than enough. Thats a 5th And 6th Blissey. Did you know that they only put out 6 prizes at the beginning of the game? Apparently not.

I still run straight blissey - I think nit's the best variant IMHO I still beat the heck out of GaG and magmortar decks

Umm, self-promotion FTW? Thanks...for...your imput?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

I definatly updated my list. ER's and Windstorms were added for Disruption and Getting rid of pesky CC's and Stadiums that benefit my Opponent.

yet another deck that folds to mag AND gallade.
there is NO reason whatsoever to have 4 solrock or anything other than a 4-4 or 4-3 blissey line. the only way this deck will win is if your opponent doesn't set up or you donk the ohko response EVERY time. you NEED the chansey start, and by only playing 3 (along with FOUR solrock and THREE lunatone AND two skitty ANDDDD THREE unown) you pretty much ruin that chance. though i don't think solrock is a horrible starter, it DEFINATELY is nowhere near as good as chansey. all you really need is a 1-2 or 2-2 lunasol line. i dont see the point in starting with anything other than chansey in a blissey deck. it has 130 hp which means it won't get t2'd, AND it's damage output increases every turn without energy accell. the extra energy you get with solrocks attack could have simply been brought back with blissey's attack anyway. thin or even drop the lunasol line and add more draw and pluspowers.

also, roseanne's is the clear choice over mentor since you have so many things to get your energy in the discard any way. if all of it is already discarded, you won't have anything to energy draw with. also, bebe's is bad.

i don't see this working or beating any real decks, but it isn't THAT bad once you slim down your enormous lunasol and unown g lines.

I think that it looks amazing. I was just thinking about lunarock and how goood it is this morning. Are you all forgetting that Pachi, Stantler, Furret, and absol ALL have +20 weakness to solrock? that means that if you go first, you can get a T2 kill on their starter (unless its furret). That would leave them completely un-setup (i know thats not a word but still)! I would add in maybe a 1-1 line of dugtrio CG to help- magmortar couldn't snipe you-and maybe some plus powers??? i REALLY like this deck and think that it has potential :thumb:

You know, usually, I'd agree with you. But how can you say that this *folds* to Magmortar and Gallade? Have you actually played this against that? No. I didn't think so. Gallade is the WORST matchup and Fire TRUK is 55-45 through testing. So to tell me you actually KNOW that this folds to it, is an uneducated guess. Now,

Solrock is the best starter to this. As the poster after you pointed out, all of the popular starters have a +20 weakness to Solrock, giving me the 2HKO(Except for Furret) which as the poster under you also pointed out, can leave them very very very unset-up. Not only that, but I also Power up Blissey WHILE I do this JUST as fast as I would with Blissey active, the only difference is that I get an Advantage on my opponent because While they have to scramble to Set-up,

This except the Dugtrio and Pluspower Suggestions.

i too think that 4 solrock is overkill. 3 at MOST, and 2 Lunatone at most as well.

Like Rambo said you want to start with Chansey in any match up regardless of your opponents starter. Because if you T2 their starter the you active Scramble for your opponent. Which could be another thing to consider with your deck. Drop the Boost and add Crystal Beach, if you choose to stick with the 4 solrock.

3 Unown G is overkill as well. The most again is 2. This should now open up space for more supporters because your running pretty low on them.

ER2? I guess. But 3 windstorm? Nothing much uses Cess. anymore besides like Banette and Magsol. So i guess it depends on your metagame.

Unown G really doesnt do much for your GG match, they still 1-shot you with flipping over prizes. i would say that the list overall looks ok, but honestly, i think that the best way to beat GG is to let them eat some prizes before bringing up blissey, gl on the deck, and nice to find that somehow you can still be original with blissey varients...

Which is pretty much what I can do with Solrocks. They have to flip one to OHKO Solrock. So unless they decide to slow play(which would be like handing me the game) then I just wait 2-3 Turns till they cant OHKO me anymore. Which I'm more than ok with.

OK. Solorock does 20 damage. +10/20 for weakness gives you 30 or 40 damage T1 & 40 damage T2 ... *if* they manage to start with a fighting weak starter. That will KO Absol & Stantler but not Furret.

Additionally GE did give us some new & quite good starters plus Claydol which by himself will make Absol less popular. I don't see G&G sticking with Absol & Stantler. Furret will still see play but I expect them to start using Lapras or Pachirisu over Stantler & Absol ... or even Solrock as you are here.

Bottom line, I don't think that you can count on starter weakness & the T2 stater KO with Solrock.

On the other hand Blissey could potentially be be doing T2 70 by herself without weakness and OHKOing some of those new cards on T2 without weakness.

What I really do like about your posts is that it shows how early sacrifices can weaken G&G.
