Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Woah! I just realized this about Porygon2!

It lacks the phrase, "You can't use more than one Download pokepower per turn." That looks like if you have more than one on the bench, and you can use it too, along with your normal supporter use per turn.

I thought it was good before, but even moreso now! So unless it's errataed before States/Provincials, I can see lots of people using more than one benched Porygon2's powers.

Ok, so I guess I'm just a little slow to catch onto things if I just thought of that now!:nonono:

That could be why it just so happens to be in my deck . Thanks for blowing the secret man! (Just kiddin'.)

Really helps set up fast. REALLY!

Oh, and BTW. The Soviet Engine just got better.

\/ There is no way they will Errata it, that is, if we all keep quiet.

Errata Time
Absol is a must in decks now

PS - why do you have to point this out now compared to a day before states

Porygon 2 is a horrible card and is completely useless. No need for people to run it during States at all.

Personally I won't be running it but thats because my brother has a deck built around this already and it does really well, especially when you get the whole thing set-up and running.

And yes Scott is now one of the more powerful cards in the format. Oops I meant to say that Scott is completely useless just like Porygon 2 is and there is absolutely no combo between the two at all. :thumb:

Anyone who says Porygon2 isn't mad crazy acceleration just hasn't tested it. In the small testing I've actually done with the card (in a PorygonZ deck), I've found it to be MAD acceleration combo'd with scott. It's crazy. It's about the only redeemable quality about PorygonZ at the moment for me.

I don't think it'd be that mad to splash Porygon2 into other decks without the Z.

You're some kind of crazy! (I want this quoted.)

Because you said that, you just know it won't be quoted...

To be honest, I saw that straight away and realised how great it was. I'm definately going to have to try it out. I'm kind of thinking about Volbeat (GE) maybe working to get supporters for next turn, but may end up being too many Pokémon and having to put too many onto the bench to work well. No matter what, Porygon2 should add speed to any deck lacking it (now I know what I want to add it to).
Any chance they'll reprint Banette Ex

Of course... Porygon2 needs Supporters to work right.

Wait a minute, what's that which helps out Gardevoir? Having Supporters in your discard? You mean I'm giving them options to set up when I use Porygon2? Well... There's gotta be a way around that, right? Couldn't I turn off Garde's powers? Wait, I'm turned off by Battle Frontier, they're not... I can't use Cessation Crystal 'cause that slows me down more then it slows them down... I'm going to have a heck of a time KOing Gardevoir before it causes mayhem 'cause it has too high of HP to be conveniently sniped?

Porygon2's... Got a bit of a metagame problem. Unlike Claydol, it makes the most popular deck in the format capable of setting itself up fast (as fast as you though...? That'll likely be the determining factor in such a matchup). Whatever deck you put Porygon into, it's gotta be able to crush Gardevoir/Gallade no sweat, or your day will turn sour pretty quickly.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. Puts G&G up there even better than before. Hmmm, I'll think of something to put with this. Pokepedia here I come!

I suppose the good news is that Porygon2 is a Stage 1 (Garde's a stage 2), and Porygon's power can be used per Porygon on the field, as opposed to only one Telepass per turn. Should there be a deck that can take advantage of drawing billions of cards per turn, great, you've got your edge there. If you need to take time to attach energies, spread damage, anything like that, Porygon2 is a VERY wrong card to use.

(In response to the original post): The fact multiple Porygon2s can use it is the reason it is being considered for any play whatsoever. If Milotic DF could use Sharing twice in a turn, alongside Feebas GE it would see play.

I really like Porygon2, it's balanced not broken.

...you all just realized this now?

1-2 Porygon 2 + Scott = insane set-up. The only way it could go faster is if you had some form of energy acceleration.

Pokegym, lol. It's good, not great or better than some of our other options. It's also not translated wrong. Even though are several inexcusable errors in this set, this isn't one of them.
