Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Are there regionals in MD?

How are they going to fit everybody in? The Dream Wizards store is tiny. They could barely fit everybody in for 2007 states.

Well, the answer I got because they chose Rockville, they assumed since all the regionals are on one day, then there would be less people. But still... If you know the area, get ready to play at Wendy's. :D

Lol. The wendy's people might wonder why people are playing a card game on their tables instead of eating. And fine, go to NJ. It will be less competition for me.

lol.

And the ppl playing at Wendy's wouldn't have to take a lunch breaK!!

If they needed to, they could accommodate a good deal more people than what DarthPika makes it out to be. There's plenty of room.

I was a little surprised to hear that this was a venue for a Regionals, but if they moved some of the shelves of product away, pushed them back a little (perhaps put away all the stuff except the Pokemon stuff), there would be room for more tables. I remember 2006 Gym Challenge, where they stuffed somthing like 111 people in there; they could have stuffed more. That would be funny though, to take seats at Wendy's.

I'll second that. I had to double check my search and then extend it out further to see if there were other regions "nearby" that were going to pick up the slack. I don't think there is. Anyone from Richmond north into PA will be coming to this regional event and that store was TIGHT for states last year, much less a regional. It's going to be interesting, for sure.

and we WILL be coming from Richmond (although I need to ask Laurel if she needs judging help since I'd rather judge than play)

Great, come up from Richmond and leave less space for the rest of us. Yes, this is sarcasm.

Just leave everybody who would play behind, including Patrick. But I'm sure he wants to lose to me again in sudden death.

Why does everyone on Pokegym think that "lose" is spelled with 2 o's? I think that this will probably have about as many people as states did.
Can someone (pokemonforever) make an official thread for MD regionals with all the info about it?

Its doubtful that I'll go, but I'll make every effort to before my Dad gives me a flat out "NO WERE NOT GOING TO REGIONALS". I'm hoping I'll have some kind of "good" deck ready by then, and Johnny will have gotten his own Pachy cuz I'll be revoking his temporary ownership of my card if I go. And yes I agree we drmario, we do need an official thread for MD Regionals.

As soon as I hear from Laurel with an official announcement, I'll post (I'm sure Kevin will do likewise if he gets the word first) Unfortunately, and I know that this borders on sacrilege, but PokeGym is NOT an official OP site.:eek::eek:

(But it's still my fav, too, so I hope we hear from Dream Wizards soon!)
