Of course, my immediate vote goes to Stantler, who has helped me many-a-time. I also like Lapras (GE) and LvX Gardevoir [but who doesn't?], as well as Chingling and a very underrated Manaphy [call for family for no energy gets the three basics of a GE Pachirisu, and for two energy you do twenty and switch it for another card on the bench. Sorry, but to me, that just seems like a better alternative to Pachirisu, who is limited in its second move to chance, more or less]. Felicity's Drawing (GE), is a no brainer. I want to know what everyone else thinks though, give me some feedback!

3/5/08~ ALSO!!!! I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE MANAPHY THING. VERY WRONG. Haha.

Best card in the game right now? I'd say celio's network because, unlike last season, this card gets ANY POKEMON out of your deck unless you're playing Catty ex. Celio is soooo broken in this format.

Yeah, just overall opinions on YOUR personal bests. I agree with all of them... especially Banette. Just because errata was put on it, does NOT make it a bad card by any means. It has, and will, stay faithfully in my deck. I mean, yes you can't 'kill' yourself, but you can still do so much with it.

1.cessation crystal (shuts down 90% of decks easy)
2.absol SW (best starter messes with opponents consstency)
3. Team Galactic's Wager (also messes with opponent's consistency and can improve your hand)
4. scramble (3 rainbows on 1 card 'nuff said)
5. celio (search for pretty much any Pokemon)

They are in my opinion the best cards in the current format. Learn to abuse these cards and you can rip apart your opponent's setup easy.

I'd say
Mismagius
Lake Boundary.

It's been working for me. Mismagius does a million damage and what it can't ohko alone usually has weakness to it so just drop a boundary and slaughter it.

Not like anyone hasn't mentioned, but Celio's Network may just be the best card in the game, as it IS more broken than anything in the current format. It's simple, and does exactly what it says.

Also, I must have overlooked Mismagius (DP) or something, because I never even thought about it, and it's a good card... I may want to get some.

a very underrated Manaphy [call for family for no energy gets the three basics of a GE Pachirisu, and for two energy you do twenty and switch it for another card on the bench. You are way off. Manaphy's CFF costs 1 energy and gets 1 basic, and his second attack costs WW. Pachi discourages people from playing a Cess to lock your powers.

But the best cards have already been mentioned here. Celio, Rare Candy, Double Rainbow and Scramble are obvious. Gallade, Gardy/Lv. X and Magmortar are too. I think Steven's Advice is starting to pick up some steam because against a Pachi start it's a straight draw 4, which is amazing.

Claydol wins it as far as versatility, consistentcy, and reliability goes.

Agreed. If its got claydol in it, i'll test it.

Manaphy [call for family for no energy gets the three basics of a GE Pachirisu, and for two energy you do twenty and switch it for another card on the bench.

Still costs an energy and only gets one pokemon.... unless your talking about a Manaphy that isnt released yet

lolz i realized you got manaphy mixed up with mantyke... mantyke only get's one basic too and doesnt even put it on your bench..... good luck winning the wager

No one else has seriously mention claydol. I am scared.

Because Delcatty outdraws it while helping Firestarter in Mag and GG can Wager + Psy-lock you into a really small hand. And people always talk about how good Baltoy is...I've honestly only drawn more than 1 a small handful of times, and quite a few times couldn't use it at all.

I noticed my error with the Manaphy thing this morning while I was at work (at 5am), and as I was stocking the shelves of faithful ol' Jo-Ann Fabrics (BAD JOB) when it hit me. I thought to myself, "As soon as I get home, I have to change what I wrote, because I was REALLY WRONG." Two water for thirty and auto switch, and call for family only brings one basic to the bench. It's not what I thought it was... AT ALL. I never played it, so it's not like I would know fully, but, I shouldn't have written it without checking either. I'm really sorry about that, that made me look dumb (heh heh... ughhhhh). Either way, now that I realize the error of what I said, Pachirisu is awesome. Colorless for three basics, and then another for the second attack with it's effects. It's a good card.

All in all, thanks for bringing up how wrong I was, because I was. I'm just glad someone noticed.

Delcatty seriously being better than claydol? Um I seriously do not think so lets see here

Claydol:
Needs only 1 card in hand
80 HP
Not Double Weak
Hits two for 40
Basic draws cards
Helps recycle cards that you do not need
Can draw up to 5 cards
Immune to Battle Frontier
Fighting Type

Delcatty
70HP
Double Weak
NEEDS energy
Can only draw up to 3 cards
Can only hit 2 for 20
Normal Type

Claydol is WAY more versatile and WAY better and fits into ALOT more decks than Delcatty. There is no vital argument in which one of these two pokemon is better. If you are wagered without being locked Claydol GUARANTEES you to replenish your hand, this is something that Delcatty cannot do. Baltoy's attack is STILL more useful than a flippy tail whap. Claydol can also easily KO Pachirisu's which I did during states. Delcatty better than Claydol? Puh-lease!

My first booster pack into the newer sets contained a celio. I've pretty much fallen in love with it right away.

I also have a random fondness for porygon2.

Roseanne's Research, Pachirisu, Claydol, Rare Candy, Steven's Advice, Gardevoir SW, Gardevoir Lv. X, Gallade, Copycat, Team Galatic's Wager, Warp Point, Blissey, Time-Space Distortion, Pluspower, Scramble Energy. No particular order.
