Three pixie Lv.Xs have some potential?

With the release of the Pixie Lv.Xs (Mesprit, Uxie and Azelf Lv.X) obviously some strategies will be built around them. The text of the cards is included in this thread (all text taken from PokeBeach) for the viewing of the people who have not already seen them.

Mesprit LV.X - 90 HP [P]
Level-Up Pokemon

[.] Healing Eye: Remove 3 damage counters from each of your Benched Pokemon.
[PP] God Blast: 200 damage. Discard all Energy cards attached to Mesprit. You can't use this attack if you don't have Azelf LV.X and Uxie LV.X in play.

Weakness: Psychic x2
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: [C]

Uxie LV.X - 90 HP
Level-Up Pokemon

PokePower: Trade Off
Once during your turn, look at the top 2 cards of your deck, choose 1 of them, and put it into your hand. Then place the other one on the bottom of your deck. This power can't be used if Uxie is affected by a Special Condition. You can't use the Trade Off PokePower more than once per turn.

[CC]: 60 damage. You cant use this attack during your next turn.

Weakness: Psychic x 2
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: [C]

Azelf LV.X - HP 90
Level-Up Pokemon

PokeBody: Psychic Aura
Ignore all of your Psychic Pokemon's weaknesses.

[P] Deep Balance: For each Energy attached to your opponent's Pokemon in play, place a damage counter onto one of your opponent's Pokemon. (Note: Double Rainbow energy counts as 2 damage counters.)

Weakness: Psychic x 2
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: [C]

I think that these cards can lead to Quickitune style deck with 2-2 for Azzy, Uxy and Mespy. But this is not the deck help forum. So I ask the question, what do YOU think of these 3 cards and their synchrony to create a rapid volley of God Blasts?

This isn't going to be a T2 deck, simply because you can only evolve active Pokémon to Lv.X. Barring a hand full of Switch/Warp Point, it's not going to be fast.

If you're referring to me, you can still only retreat once a turn. That gives you 2/3 Lv.X without trainer aid.

*waits for lists that show 4 Girafarig to look for Switch*

Let's also consider the fact that we don't know what the normal fairies do just yet. I think these three will be good in the next format, as they have the other Fairies from MT to assist them. Hard to tell at this point, though.

Why is everyone comenting on mesprite, it's not a good card. Azelf is the broken card and uxie is still the main attacker of the deck.

Mesprit is a good card, fishing engine with switchs and waraps you will be able to do God Blast at least twice. Funny to do 230 or add Lake Boundary and do 400 like Lugia used to do.

This deck will be fun to play, dont know how competitive tho,it depends if we get it soon.

It's really not that hard to get all 3 in one turn. Premier Ball is a non-Supporter, after all. And Warp Point is amazing disruption that helps you set up 200 damage. AND your free retreat thx to Mesprit MT helps a lot.

This deck will most likely be BDIF along with either Kingdra or Polideck (copyrighted as of...now ). It counters itself because of the Downer Material body on one of the MT fairies (I think Azelf) ups the attack cost of basics by C. Also, wasn't there some kind of tech that stops basics from attacking??

I think you can build a nice T2 or even T1 deck with them.

But you should not only rely on God Blast. The deck is not able to use this attack every two turns and at all, it doesn't need to do so.

Let's check the decks possibilities:

Standard attacks:
- Uxie Lv.X - 60 dmg for 2 energy.
- Mesprit DP6 - 70 dmg for 1 energy if you have the same amount of cards as your opponent what should be possible to handle with lots of non-supporter-trainers and some drawing cards

Lockdown/Disruption attacks:
- Azelf DP6 - 20 and retreat block for 1 energy
- Azelf MT - 10 and special energy block for 1 energy (maybe not that powerful after DRE, Scramble etc. have been rotated out)
- Uxie MT - 30 and sleep for 1 energy if you have all three legends in play (non-Lv.X-form)

Snipe attacks:
- Azelf Lv.X - 1 dmg counter for each energy on the opponent's Pokémon in play

Ultimate/special attacks:
- Mesprit Lv.X - 200 God Blast

Lockdown/Disruption powers/bodies:
- Azelf MT - opponent's basics pay 1 more if all three legends are in play
- Uxie MT - disable attack if hit by opponent
- Mesprit DP6 - disable any powers on your opponent for a turn (!)

Helpful powers/bodies:
- Mesprit MT - free retreat if all three legends are in play
- Azelf Lv.X - no weakness
- Uxie Lv.X - additional draw power
- Azelf DP6 - prize switch

And note, all of this Pokémon are basics, and you never need more than 2 energy. The deck is easily built up with Roseanne's Research, Quick Balls and Premier Balls. The free retreat body allows to switch your active Pokémon every turn and have no problems with the Lv. Up, and there also is enough space to add some Warp Points.

Keep in mind that this is no "I do 200 damage every 2nd turn" deck (G&G is no "I do Psychic Cut and Bring Down to knock out everything" deck either btw), Azelf/Uxie/Mesprit is a fast T2 disruption deck!
Also keep in mind that the opponent will destroy parts of your deck as good as he can, making the 200 every 2nd turn impossible and forcing you to be able to use all options of the deck and not only some of them.

The biggest problems are:
- they get knocked out very fast
- Mewtwo Lv.X (protection against basics)
- expensive deck (5-6 Lv.X and 2-3 TSD to run a good list)

btw does anyone know what the non-Lv.X Uxie does?

Pokémon 19:
2-2 Azelf DP5
2-2 Uxie MT
2-2 Mesprit MT
3-2-2 Gliscor DP5

Keep them paralyzed while you level up all your Pokémon and attack. (Side note: anyone knows if Gliscor poké-power applies for its own level-up?)

Don't get too used to calling it God Blast, it will inevitably be changed for outside Japan :D

Mewtwo LvX and Groudon look beastier than any of the pixies.

screw the lv x, the new regular mespirt seems so broken. locking powers when it comes into play . . . ugh, so many decks will be cutting their wrists because of this card. just imagine a late game tech mespirti and just LOCKING powers for a whole turn. the opponent will be totally kanashii.

don't know what they do yet, but the power is called SetUp and the attack is called Psyhic Restore. anyone know if these powers/attacks have been on previous pokemon? (i.e the mespirit attack was on shiftry HL)

Poke-Power: Setup
You can use this Power once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand onto your Bench. Draw cards from your deck until you have 7 cards in your hand.
[C] Psychic Restore: 20 damage. You may return Uxie and all cards attached to it to the bottom of your deck in any order.

Nicee.....

This Azelf...

Poke-Power: Time Walk
You can use this Power once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand onto your Bench. Look at all of your face-down Prize cards, then return them face-down. If you'd like, you may choose 1 Pokemon card out of those Prize cards, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. If you do, choose 1 card from your hand and play it face-down as a Prize card.

Will it works as a prize refresher for Gallade? >O
