When is Togekiss usefull?

I have to say, I notice that for a pokemon that can energize pokemon at an incredible speed, it is'nt much seen...(yet?)

And I have to admit, even I only have 1 use for it and that is to power up pokemon fast when Darkrai lv.X is in play. Plus, the only other decks I have seen it play with are Blissey and.....Wailord:tongue:

Can anyone tell me why this card does not seems to get alot of attention?
Or is it not all that what it is said to be?

It suffers from the typical "can't do much until it hits stage 2 and then it needs something else with it" problem which means things like Mag, G+G will outspeed and be more consistent.

And it dependant on its poké-power. Anything like Pidgeot HP or even a battle frontier to counter Pidgeot will shut it off.

But if you have Windstorms in your deck and some Super Scoop Ups, would that not be help Togekiss?
Or even Palkia and Pachi, would they be helping then?

But your right, it's too obvious if not way too slow.

This card has made to team up with Ho oh. Ho oh is basic so only togekiss has to evolve. Ho oh needs 4 NRG to attack. This can happen T1 with rare candy and Togekiss. Take a look at deck strat for skittles. The card hold some promise for any poke that does X times number of energy.

IMO, Togekiss is only useful early in the game when you have enough energy in your deck for it to get something, afterwards it is a deadweight Stage2 which is doing 40 for 3 energy half the time.

Highest damage it can do is 120. Can't kill gallade, gardavoirLvl.X, or magmortarLvl.X.

Oh. Wait, I forgot about basic dark and basic metal! Never mind it can knock those things out.

SKITTLES!!! Ho-Oh is versatile in the means that you can power it up just enough to OHKO your opponents deck and start powering up the next one. Plus, you have Pheonix Turn!!!

i wasnt talking about ho-oh, i was talking about Togekiss, it maxes at 70 but does 40 half the time, it's useless after it hits the field and relies on other pokemon to back it up. and chances are you wont get everything you need from it's power.

That must be because almost EVERYONE uses special energy. (DRE anyone?)
But the way that I see it is that Togkiss makes DRE useless if you just put in 15+Basic energy.
I have put 20 :dark: in my Darkrai deck and it always fetches a minimum of 3 energy, which is always what I need.

Yet if you do that, you leave little room for trainers.

Its the problem I'm experiencing with Togekiss. Putting it in my decks give little room for other stuff.

I don't experience any problems.
Maybe I am lucky or my opponent was not paying attention, but this deck actually won from a GG deck once.

Also the problem of having a shortage of trainers does not seem to apply to me.
Here is the deck I am talking about.

So okay, it has 2 pokemon with Poke-Powers. But Psy Lock Does not cancel Poke-Body's.
Maybe that is the reason why I won from G&G..?

Togekiss is a -POWER.

SW Weavile is a -POWER.

Unown E is a -POWER.

I think after the sets rotate Togekiss will be a little more popular, because right now we have special enrgys to power up our pokmeon quickly. Unless another energy is releaced or any of the sspecial energys are reprinted.

togekiss should be used more than it is, i mean its energy exeleration and a deck thinner. when you need to get rid of it just scoop it up or make it active i mean so what if it only does 70 to 100 in your deck just cause its not a one shot doent mean ints not still 70 pionts plus for a gallade with dre atatched to one shot it to prevent being koed next turn it would have to flip OMG 5 prizes!

in short this card is underestimated.

Darkrai is a -BODY
Thank god that Psy Lock does not cancel -BODY's. Go :dark: Pokemon!

Read Darkrai's weakness, read Gallade's type. Gallade can rip through every pokemon in your deck, with the exception of Togekiss, who is a 2-3 shot from Gardevior, if they do not simply Sonic Blade then Psychic Lock you away.
