Note: this is my first G&G so I need help with it. However I use 3 gardy because Psy Lock is awesome and I can just keep using TGW to disrupt while stopping their cosmic power.

These are the 2 Decks I am considering for Regionals I want to know what would be the best tp play in an unpredictable meta-game and help on the deck that I will use. This is not a poll, post why you think I should choose the deck you think I should chose.

i think G and G because magmortar will probably be countered at Reg's. i think for G and G, -1 Furret(i think 4-2 is the best way) +1 roseannes. also, i dont think cyclone will work too well so maybe -1 cyclone +1 fighting and probably -1 dre for +1 scramble. Hope this helps,
Furrymuskrat

Both of your decks look pretty good! for the mag I would take out a 1-1 line of claydol, take out 2 tvr take out 1 tgw, then 1 copy cat, then add 1 stevens advice, 2 windstorm, 1 strength charm, 2 more fires.

For the GG I would take out 1 tgw, take out 1 psychic energy, 1 castaway (you can use your opponents and against mirror match it helps them a lot.) for 1 stevens advice 1 fighting energy 1psychic energy.

All around the GG would probaly be your best option as it beats mag and almost every other deck in the format beside it struggles against mirror match and bannete, good luck!

I say G&G because it doesn't have too many weak points. Trainer line:
4 Celio
2 ROseanne
3 TGW
3 POV
4 Rare Candy
2 NM
1 Steven's Advice
= 19

I think you should play a 2-2 Claydol foer more consistency. Also + 1 FIghting. Test it on Saturday if you choose it vs. Houndoom. Hehe.

ya

i would go with gg its basically a auto win up against mag your other deck if played right and has a really good chance up against just everything else played, wouldn't worry about the answer bannett mag blissey or even mirror match. check out my list

If your noob at GG, go Mag. Dude GG isn't an auto win against Mag.

Seriously, don't run this Magdol, just run the TRUK instead and you'll be fine.

I bet there will be much more Banette then Gatr or Hurricane in reigonals, and honestly more people will think about teching vs GG then vs Mag.

you have a point that more G&G will be countered than mortar but TRUK is not reliable enough. My friend Alex used it at NJ states and barely made top cut, Dusknoir kills truk because it needs the bench space. But Magdol barely needs bench space. So I won't play TRUK

maybe put a 1-0-1 or 2-1-2 line of togekiss in your magdol deck, as it helps insanely early game, turn 2 for 100 damage is amazing, or just snipe. also GG will be countered more than mag, but just my opinion.

I would say GG but dusknoir is not going to do you much good considering as soon as it comes out people are ready for it. Try a line of Gyrados or something to counter Mag,

If I keen eye the duskull/dusknoir/candy to my hand and wait for the right moment to strike they won't be ready for it. But I will take Gyra D into consideration

jason,, use magmortar. with ANYTHING. dont make the same mistake i did using GAG. i will hunt yiu down if you do.

and for magdol
- 1 TGW
- 3 pov
-1 NM

+ 2 TVR
+1 castaway
+1 STrength charm
+1 stevens

Dont lisen to sam the only reason why he lost becuase he lied.

yo jason,

in magdol you need felicitys. keep in TGW because they ensure that you dont deck out. also strength charm isnt needed in here because you will have leftover damage on your opponents poke from bazooka. also, thanx for usin my GG tech:thumb: problem is, FJ stole the dusknoir tech too:nonono:

for GnG, for lots of testing, you need a tech against gatr, not just dusknoir. try out a 1-0-1 gatr MT
or 1-1 dugtrio CG against that

looks good:thumb:

hey, noir won't be any use to FJ if he doesn't know how to use it.

I am really debating between Magdol/G&G. I might just playtest this week to see which one I'm better with.
