There is no more Team Anti-Pwn. And can we stop discussing about who will win? We'll let the real day determine for us.

55% Gardy/Gallade
15% Magmortar Varients
5% Bannette
10% Blissey Varients (I know some people in the area that are play Blissey)
15% Other

My guess.

I am even thinking of playing G&G. So for the senior division I think it might be more like

70% G&G
15% Mag variant
10% Banette
5% other

If G&G is as widely played as that there might be a little more banette but There is so much G&G (I shouldn't talk) that it will more likely win. Unless there is a really good magmortar list.

how the heck can i get there if theres no public trans....

Walk?
Well, the event is being held at a hotel, so, sleepover for the night?
I know a few people from NY who are doing that.
Don't let Public Transportation hold you back.

There is not going to be that much Banette. Banette is a deck that has problems with almost every deck that isnt GG.

I feel this is how our regionals is going to go. This is an average of just MA. I really cant comment in other age groups since I dont play in them, but I would assume they would be close to the same.

70% GG
13% Magmortar - This maybe high with all the GG with Dusknoir. If GG decide to play Blastoise, expect players playing Magmortar to be doing better overall
13.5% Rogue - I expect that Rogue will outnumber Magmortar.
3.5% - If we have 100 players in any age group, I expect that only 3-4 players will play Banette, There is just too much in the other decks. When 27% is other decks that means in a 7 round tournament, your gonna face somewhere from 1-4 decks that are not GG. That is just asking for trouble. I expect 7 rounds since that would only be 65 players in any 1 age group. Then you have to factor in top cut. If you choose to Banette, will you end up facing any of the other 27%. Well a T16 is 4 additional rounds. So your telling me out of 11 rounds your gonna face a deck that isnt GG only once? Because if you dont, your going to have trouble winning.

I think players put too much into Banette. The fact that GG considers Blastoise in the deck is just absurd. The fact is that you have a much better of playing a deck where Dusknoir would be more helpful than Blastoise. A good player knows what to do against mirror and doesnt need Blastoise. Plus to take out a card that helps you against a lot of players for a card that helps your against a deck you may or may not face is a bad choice.

im taking a plane here..

Edit:

I expect that only masters players will be playing bannette mostly.
Since many people in Masters play G&G around the NJ/NY area.

uhh i highly alot of masters are going to change to banny..

and uhh

its only the NJ area that plays G/G
about 2-4 people in NY masters plays G/G

everyone in Ny plays red face paint or something else BESIDES G/G..>_>

so yea..

gino.. you callz me so i can givez you the Low down..

and lol at edwin XD

I think in that first statement your missing the word doubt, but I agree I expect almost nobody to play Banette, which means that GG should be the correct choice for Regionals.

Secondly, I dont agree wtih your comment that only 2-4 players in NY play GG. Did you see what did well at NY States? Wasnt like 5 or 6 of the top cut for states GG? If your telling me most play Rogue/Magmortar, I think that you have finally lost all your "marbles" if you you actually beleive that GG will not be 65-70% of the decks. :)tongue:) You have to remember, that most decks need a big bench and if GG plays Dusknoir, then any Rogue deck I dont care what it is, will have problems if they need a big bench. Not to mention that Magmortar will have an exceptionally hard time dealing with the fact that they can only have 3 bench pokemon. That should stop anyone from considering Magmortar Variants, unless they truly want to not do well.

If there are 65 players or more in your age group you will have 11 rounds if you play all the way until the finals. It makes a very very long day.

Drew

Then its very smart to start it at 10:30 am (99.9% a delay of some sort will happen, even thought its suppose to start at 10).

Lets see a draw out of this:

11 Rounds + 3 Breaks (I'm guessing after roudn 4, 8, and after Top Cut)

And all that will be over at around:

6:00-7:00 pm.

+ Top Cut, so if you win 1st place, you will probably be out of there at around 8:30-9:30 pm.

But htats just my educated guess.

it doesn't matter cuz ... GaG isn't winning ... at least it better not ... no johns everyone ... but GaG isn't unbeatable ... i played GaG 3times in top cut and 3 in swiss ... and i only lost to benny. Dan on time its not that hard to beat IMO

don't play GaG against me is all i'm saying ^_^

Darkrai is just too freaking good ... i'm sry
