what's the difference between PLOX and GG?

Yeah I read very much about GG but so many times there's the name PLOX. Is it only GG but with 3 Gardevoir or something totally new?

Or are there some special techs in Plox?

Thank you very much

Ploxs is basically a disruptive G&G. It runs more gardevoir than gallade. It usually runs something like this.

4-2-3-2-1 Garde/Gallade/LvX
1-0-1 Duskinoir
2-2 claydol
4 starter.

So yeah...

If you really want to know more about Plox I would ask a member of Team R about it as they are the makers.

Basicly it's more focused on Gardevoir as the main attacker with TGW and Claydol. It usually teches in a Gatr MT to beat Mag, and help out against Banette.

I still don't get whats the big deal about using 3 gardevoir.
Since i started playing Gardevoir decks i'd ALWAYS use rather 3 Gardevoir than 3 Gallade, using 3 Gallades just doesn't make any sense. And using Wagers also isn't anything exspecially new, using 4 just seems way to risky for me, too many bad starts IMO.

3 Gallade is for more Gallade openings than Gardy, because in the "old" version you start with Gallade and clean up with Gardy Lv. X (that's why it was 2-2). I guess in Plox, you are pretty much always attacking with Gardy and you use Gallades when you need to one-hit something...I'm guessing it attacks more often against Banette?

Banette plays around... 2 Crystal Beach. ._. (they need space for Lake Boundaries too, or they aren't KOing Gallade, thus won't play 4 copies)

If using Gatr, you'd need Lake Boundary, so there's one for sure. Possibly two. It's obviously not the greatest idea to throw down a Lake Boundary with Garde Active, but if you have to...
And because of the random Unown G running around to stop Bring down (and I guess Sonic Blade), there's perhaps a windstorm or two.

Sounds... About right for counter stadiums.

Agree with Dusknoir against Banette, but I think there's a different water pokemon that's better for anti-Banette. Not as great against Magmortar, but lake boundary fixes that problem.

Banette can be a insanely hard deck to play if you dont know what your doing.

As for Plox being able to beat Banette, I think that if they player using Banette is a novice Plox has a better chance.

Let's think about the following situations with Plox.

First, 3 Crystal Beach is the play. Any less and your asking for trouble. Some will most like play 4.

Okay, lets take Dusknoir - Most Plox are going to try to get up Gardevoir before they go for Dusknoir. If they go for Dusknoir first they are going to fall behind quickly. While Dusknoir does have the ability to be able to make it hard on Banette, the fact of the matter is that Banette is so quick, that a good player will have only 3 Benched Pokemon.

Gardy Lv. X - Okay so you are going to Bring Down them, and if they play more than 1 Shuppet your are going to use Dusknoir bring 1 of the 2 to your hand. So let me get this straight, your going to let my active Banette attack you turn after turn, while I knock out your Gardevoirs? Wow that makes tons of sense.

After that, I dont think I need to explain any further. Plus look at FL States Results. Everyone play Plox/GG and Banette went Undefeated and WON THE TOURNEY.

i dont think dusknoir is a banette counter because of its power. its a banette counter because it can take out 2 banettes midgame before going down.

Exactly, and Dusknoir can abuse DRE, so its pretty easy to power him and still do enough damage.
And btw, i'd always use a single tauros in any deck, so at least once you can get rid of crystal beach for sure.
Btw, I've just played the standart 44 Banette 1 Minum, why does everyone use Lunasol now ?

Normal Plox did not run Dusknior nor any other techs other than Blastiose d that I am aware of (and I played against one when it was made, so I can testify). It simply focuses more on attacking early and disruption than setting up, using Gardevior and Gallade to make up for lost time.

Plox vs Banette usually results in a loss for Plox, unless the Banette player is bad or gets some kind of horrible start.
Tauros was used to keep stadium locks from happening, and the ability to use your opponents supporters to grab it was extremely useful.
