Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OMG...can it be?

Yea, the ccg was my favorite card came.. Untill gt came out...

From what has been shown, it has looks that resemble the Naruto tcg. Im waiting to see how this turns out!

Definately. But I hope lots of people buy into this. It would be
good to start a league up or something and play just like the old
days. I've already volunteered to be the DBZ Meijin so i'm awaiting
a response from the guy.

I hope it plays well.
When the tcg rolled around, I bought packs at $1 a peice seeing as suncoast was seling them off at slashed prices! Sad to say I didn't like it as much as the ccg and No one else played it so it was a wasted investment :frown:

Im a Meijin for Naruto, and I love how the game plays.
So I think Bandai can pull this off just fine.

Now FMA was just the worst card game ever, As long as that company doesnt take a shot at a DBZ tcg, we are safe

What they need to do is give the license back to Score, say all GT sets are banned but all promos from the Z sets are legal and then go back to those rules and then start printing new cards. That is the only way they wont fail.

Well, from what I remember there was 2 Format's. Expanded(Z+GT)
and Focused(GT). They also had Focused Z but that wasn't considered
for tournaments. It was just a made up format for people to play. Anyway
I don't think Score should get the license back seeing as how they messed
up like every card. There's a Huge List of cards in the Current Rulings
Document(CRD) that have all been Errated/Had the Rules Changed. I didn't
like how they did that, but maybe Bandai will not make the same mistakes,
right. And there wasn't anymore cards to Print for DBZ. They did all the Saga's
so there was nothing left. Maybe instead the could of made they "Dragon Ball
Card Game", you know the 1st Television Series.

The flaw to that statement is that bandai is the ones in charge of Naruto.
Naruto has so many Errated cards, and alot of typos... So dont put much
faith in them...

Also they dont follow how japan intended the cards be played.
Example - Sasuke (thirst for power effect) Is a turn 3, but we simply
changed it to a turn 2 and gave no change for it being a turn 3.
Also cards coming out involving 2 ninjas are suppose to get -7 to there stats under a cirtain condition, but we changed it to -3? and its not getting a change.

back on topic tho, they make to many errated cards, and sometimes dont fix them to be played correct.

Never does a card game have to end just because the series is up. Like pokemon, you just make another. Take a new picture, new effects/powers and BWAM! A new card.

The only problem with the game was that older personality cards never really had a chance. When you put the old saiyan saga vegeta up against the Buu saga Goku, it was a lost cause.....
I helped run tournys, I know it all to well....

its going to be amazing. rumor has it that dbz and naruto will be compatable so u can play against someone using a naruto deck with ur dbz deck

Stalker: Japan has no more Dragon Ball Series, so in order to make
new cards they'd have to make a new series which is what they did
for Pokemon. There's no point in making new cards for an already
dead card game.

It was in reference to how the card game would have never died in the first place.

See if pokemon ever was to end, (anime series) the card game can go on, know why?
Because the cards pictures are not straight from the anime.
That plays a massive role in it all in the end.

DBZ tcg took images from the anime resulting in -once the series is over, the cards are over-
I was not saying to do what I said now, its over already and no use bringing it back.

Pokemon takes the time to draw out there pictures and take images from the 3-d style.

So the whole "they need to make a new series like they did for pokemon" isnt hitting it all on the mark.
DBZ has to do that because thats were there images came from. Pokemon doesn't do that.
Now granted, the only way that fits with pokemon is that when a new series of pokemon come out, with a new generation of pokemon like another 100 or so is that they have cards of newer pokemon to make., but if the show ended today, they could still make cards of the pokemon currently released.

So in all, its 2 seperate things

PLUS THE VIDEO GAMES ARE STILL GOING STRONG
