I love your 6 word Strategy....

I would swap Copycat for Rowan, due to the growing usage of Claydol.
Why Bebe's over Celio's?
Take out the Excavator for POV's. You have enough search, and no straight draw.
Drop a windstorm to pick up another NM.

Just my opinion...
 
Dear Alex,

What a nice surprise seeing you post an Empoleon deck? A few suggestions:

1. Any need for a starter -- Lapras, Pacharisu, Tauros, etc?

2. Would 1 or 2 Phione help in levelling up quicker?

3. How about 1 of Robbie G."s and mine favorite cards - Suicune, the water Pokemon TSD? (I must admit though, it really stinks when you get it as your only starter)

4. I know BBC and you don't agree with me, but I would play 3 Empoleon MD and 1 Empoleon Lv. X. 2 reasons---the Empoleon Lv. X lets you snipe for 80 (kill a benched Claydol anyone?) and at least at regionals some opponents were playing cards which cause status conditions and levelling up is a quick way to get rid of those conditions.


P.S. I am glad you're a senior so I wouldn't have to play an almost mirror deck in B.R. (maybe I should bring back Electiviire?)

What do you mean bring back Electivire? Electivire was never here and never wil be if Gallade reigns over.
 
no i dont need a starter. if you looked at any empo varient last year lake japanese empo with just empoleon and corsola, corsola was added for consistency. in ambush, there were no starters. in empocario, no starters, etc. thats because empo is basically T2 beatdown with aqua showering as uch as possible before it gets KOd. im making this as consistent as possible so i dont need a starter

John, Empoleon Lv.X is NEVER goint to work. Never did and never will.

and Alex drop a copycat for another wager because if you played a wager that would have put the final nail in my coffin in our game today.

As well as that I might consider dropping a 1-1-1 omastar for another Night Maintenance and a 1-0-1 dusknoir. It will make the killing all the opponents pokemon with ancient sprial so much easier as there is less to spread to.
 
jason, i think im just going to keep a 2-1-2 omastar. its consistent, and yesterday i always had to play 2 omastar in games because they sometimes recover from the first. although, i might add in a 1-0-1 noir line or a 1-0-1 amphy SW line
