I have a Professor Elm's Training Method and a Mary's Request, both with silver borders. On the back of PETM, instead of the usual pokeball logo, it says World Championships 2004, and Mary's Request says World Championships 2006. Are these worth anything, or should I throw them away?

I looked around some more and found Mary's Request on ebay, Buy It Now for $.75. I guess the other one is probably about the same.

If you learn anything about Pokemon cards, learn this: World Championship cards like this have little to no collectible value.
Ripoff sellers on ebay tout them as "World Championship Promos" and sell some of them for large amounts of money.
You can buy an entire deck of the cards for $10 to $15. So each card is worth 1/60th of that. That's $0.15 to $0.25 per card.

They are made as a way to celebrate the WC winners and for players to get a championship calibre deck in their hands to see how it plays and how to make one.
