I am new to this forum. Do I go somewhere when I set up a trade to get the card? How do I get the card I am to be traded?

see the link in my sig, it goes to my thread for trading so you can get an idea of what to do

trading here takes 100% trust in the person you trade with. I suggest you use the "Check A Trader" thread to find out who is good and who is bad to trade with

You don't physically make a trade with someone in person. You mail the cards out to them, and then they mail you the other half of the trade. It's pretty simple really, and it's a ncie way to get new cards if your local card pool is pretty dry.

yes and whoever has the lower refs sends first and when the person who hase the higher refs gets the cards he/she sends your cards

your Refs= who you traded with

They would supply their address, right?

yeah, they would. Some people on the site have PO boxes as well, where they get their cards sent to. but either way, the cards would go to them, and they would send you the cards they owe you. This is how you earn references on the site with people. A new person is basically expected to send first until they can be trusted by traders. It's best to start off by trading with trustworthy people who have a lot of refs first.

Yeah, its trade at your own risk here, but most people here are good traders, and bad traders and scammers are swiftly and strictly dealt with. And as said earlier, you could check the link in myh sig to see how a basic trade thread is set up. Just post your rares and valuables list and post a wants list, and people will make offers and once a trade is agreed to, you will exchange address via PM, and you will work who will send when and then the trade happens. Once the trade is made, you can put that person as a good trader in your refs list. Check the sticky'd threads for rules. Its pretty simple. Welcome, and I hope you have a good time trading!:thumb:

Please do not post the same question in multiple areas. Since you seem to understand what happens when you trade, i'll just lock this now.
