ok i neew opions i am in a league with 3 poke league leaders and one of them is a brother to the main one and hejust got into pokemon not too long ago and he doesnt know anyhting about pokemon for reasons
1) he tried making it so i cant use celios network to get magmortar LVX which i asked a professer david about it and he said i can
2) i tried telling him u cant ur caterpies poke power to evolve straigh into butterfree, ur suppose to go to metapod and then use metpods poke-power.

in my own opion i think that its more professional for the poke-league eladers to pass the professer test to prove that they know about pokemon i mean if ur gonna be a pokemon league leader u should know about pokemon and not jsut got into it 2 months afgo i've been it since 1995 since it jsut started iam sorry that is just my opion i mean the only one that passed was the main league leader theothers didnt, iam a pokegym leader which makes it so everyone who battles me get double points

:pokeball:but ya comments/consers etc are aprochiated:pokeball:

My opinion would be to be constructive in your dealings with the non-professor LL.

As a LL, I would appreciate any help I could get from any mature individual who is willing to spend their time at league to help with all of the administrivia (word?) involved with league including encourging players to play, recording game results and assiting with registration. On average I only get to play one competitive game at league when both our LL are there. If your LL wants to make rulings you should introduce him to the compendium specifically reference one or two of his missed calls. Be carful not to let it sound like "I told you so". I would "suggest" taking the professor exam. After all if he isn't a professor he is not earning Professor points for being a LL.

I don't believe that either league leaders or a tournement organizers "have" to be professors. I think that this makes sense because the goal is to provide a safe, fun place to play. It obvoiusly helps if you understand the game. I don't think you have to be an expert but you shouldn't try to pass yourself off as an expert if you aren't. Becoming a professor does help and it demonstrates a commitment to the game.

League Leaders are kinda like organizers in a way. They don't have to know a thing about the game they're working with. However, they should surround themselves with people who *do* know the game.

In this case, you've got an LL who doesn't know the game paired with two that do. That's a pretty good ratio, IMO. Let the guy who doesn't know anything worry about points and administrative stuff, while the other two worry about decks, rulings, and game stuff.
