*facepalms*Wow, AMU is a bad name. It doesn't mean anything, and you can't say it as one word. Way to dumb it down and take all the magic out of it.
*facepalms*
AMU is the Atomic Mass Unit. It is a chemistry thing, the unit used for the weights of the elements. :nonono:
I'm kind of indifferent about the set name. It sounds alright, but we already have other set names that have the word "legend". Going to wear the word out.
Shameful. totoro's got his work cut out for him, trying to educate people on the horror that is Chemistry. My college professor didn't like the term because he felt it was overcomplicated what should simply be grams/moles. Thinking that way did made it easier.Finaly some one got it!!!!
I cant believe how many people dont know what AMU is (not the deck).
The TM's are so freakin' broken.
Sorry for not being a chemistry buff...but I think for those that barely scraped by in the class (myself included--got a really low B thanks to a 20-point curve on the final) we should not bring up AMU anymore. I'm getting a headache thinking about it right now...screw stoichiometry! *grumblegrumble electrondotformations grumblegrumble*
Naming the deck Uma is yet another chance to inundate the game with famous ppl! William Hung and David Schwimmer are not enough!
And the TMs are BROK'd. Give a Chatot a Call and a TS-1 and he is the culmination of the greatest starters of all time. "Hmm, after I go grab 2 basics for my bench, I'll evolve one of them, Copycat you until I get everything else set up, and then retreat for free and make Warp Point awesome about 5 turns down the road. AND make Gallade flip 2 prizes."
Kingdra won a Japanese Battle Road last month, so it's per definition a good card. I agree that it can seem hard to make it work, though. It's a tricky but rewarding deck.
If anyone wants to pull the "but Japan's format is different" argument, feel free to do so. Like all other new cards that have done well in Japan in the past, this new card will do equally good in our format - IMO.
*remembers that time back in August when him and a few other people tried to argue that Blissey was going to be the next top deck in our Modified format, but most people didn't believe it would do well because the "format is different", and that other time when he tried to tell that Blissey wasn't a big, untackable problem after all because Gallade would soon be released, but people doubted Gallade would "work"*
(I'm not trying to be arrogant, I'm merely trying to state the fact that new cards that have done well in Japan will ALWAYS be good in our metagame too)
Didn't a torterra win a Cities too?
Armaldo Is so broken, If a damage to Armaldo Is 60 or less, that attack does nothing
